Sometimes the mastermind
Sometimes the butcher
Alcohol.
Sometimes the genius
Sometimes the imbecile
Alcohol.
Sometimes the blanket
Sometimes the suffocation
Alcohol.
Sometimes the spark
Sometimes the wildfire
Alcohol.
Sometimes the dibber
Sometimes the uprooter
Alcohol.
Sometimes the jamboree
Sometimes the funeral
Alcohol.
It was never the first
Never the warmth.
It was the last
And the end was explosive.
Wisdom, victory, justice, and law
worship you in reverential awe.
Aesthetics, commerce, and tactics thrive.
In you, compassion and peace revive.
Weaver of love and benevolence!
Mistress of music and medicine!
Peak of perfect poetry divine!
Serene with the owl of refinement
with snakes, you uncover appeasement.
Uprooter of roots of ignorance!
Though embellished with athletic might
like Juno and Jupiter, you're bright.
Your imperious armor and spear
erase from the cosmos evil's sphere.
Beacon of quick human cognizance!
