To my sweetest May:
It is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore my feelings for you.
I enjoy the polite interchange in conversations we have between us.
I also enjoy your company as you choose to stay late voluntarily and
offer to help so we can further engage in conversation.
I can’t overlook your beauty, as I find myself attracted to you.
However, this is an unrequited love
This truly would be a May-December romance.
From poiema we derive our word poetry
As a woman I applaud God’s creation of you in His poetry.
Your long flowing glory and brown eyes.
That black dress your wore a while ago knocked me out
because you’re a knock-out.
What a beautiful woman, I must admire from afar.
Gosh, you’re sexy.
Unrequitedly Yours
December

In the midst of the storm, when the world's cold and gray,
Her beacon of light brightens my day.
A friendship of kindness she shares every way,
Her heartbeat of joy reflects our sun’s rays.
A melody's silence, a calm in the storm,
Her comforting presence, energetic & warm.
In the darkest of night, she's my guiding star,
I get lost in her thoughts as light shines from afar.
Her smile, lit sunshine, as my solace remains,
A joy that stays hopeful as kindness attained.
I hope you’re aware as my eyes gaze through your stare,
Your precious reflection is unrequitedly rare.
Through the highs and the lows, the joy and the pain,
She's joy made from sunshine after each rain.
With a friendship so pure & free from life’s strain,
I pray she remains my gifted friend, Laine.
Your rainbow sky lights above colorful rain,
The strength that sustains when all efforts wane.
With a bond oh so rare & a complexion of care,
Her precious friendship is beautifully rare.
So here's to Laine, a friend I hold dear,
A bond unbroken year after year.
May our friendship endure through thunder & pain,
Pulsating in sunshine , forever unchained.

When you have so much love to give,
But the people you have loved
Are not willing to accept it,
Eliminating your last shred of hope.
Blinded by romanticism,
We all seek to love and be loved,
Forgetting the emotions,
Of those who love us unrequitedly.
Making pancakes for you,
In the morning light,
Listening to every word you say,
Has become my fantasy.
You told me that I am lovable,
Yet you cannot love me,
Since I am not mysterious enough,
Because you know how I feel.
Get someone you love,
Forget about me,
But I will always loathe,
The thought of you with someone else.
