To kill the quenching thirst
I let myself be cursed
The damned thirst stood still
Like a little snowy hill
"Water! Water!" I begged for
But none cared at all
The rain also never came
I wandered into a cave
Dark shadows and me together
Like a rainy day weather
I escaped from the cave
But thirst didn't went away
Soon i found an oasis
I ran there—and what!
It was just another abyss

“Because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills” - JFK
~
fifty-five years …
and despite extraordinary
leaps in the applications of technology,
we have not returned to
press that wondrous fall of moon dust …
there are ghosts of
those who gave their lives to the
scientific exploration of the starry vault
that is our heavenly crown,
crying for the satiation of that thirst -
and if and when we do return,
I pray those phantoms are benevolent,
that their crosses are upright,
and their wistful, wandering spirits …
at rest.

Your SMILE ...
Is like a raindrop
In the desert ...
It's all I long for,
Yet it leaves me thirsty ...
For so much MORE.

Last night you gave me all you had to ease my thirst, yet my thirst remains
unquenched. For ten minutes after we were through I still thirsted for you. I still
thirst for your kisses, your touch and all the passion that you release when we're
intimate. From the animal like sound you make to your fingernails digging deep
into back. If you could take it I'd be intimate with you every hour of the day for the
rest of our life, and even that wouldn't be enough. I'd still desire you, crave you
and thirst for you even after we have parted from this life. When it comes to you to
much is never enough. Forever and always my thirst for you will be unquenched.
