Happiness resides
with the unmuddied clarity of a peaceful mind,
in words that flow from the mouth like ripe fruit,
each syllable, sincere and bright.
It’s a potter’s steady hands,
without urgency, without an urge, you are shaped like pliable clay,
just a calm rhythm
of mind, word and fingertip in tandem,
soft and rhythmic, as if they’d been joined for a lifetime.

The heart is more than an organ.
It is the brain of intuition,
Unmuddied by superstition.
