Not afraid to try for you and I.
So now I shall no longer cry.

Give it a try for only one day
People say it loudly in your hole
There are those who prick you hard
Not a single time you have to listen
My ear listen, you are not an ornament
If you had eyes to see the bruises
And hands to feel the texture of torture
By now you would be a wise ear of ears
I am told you use ear of your ear to sit on
The size you hold is good for nothing
It is a wonder you're for just decorations
But the time for trouble is near, listen my ear
Now that you are good for no function
Go down to the foot, and the foot to you

How many years now has it been – maybe fifty-seven?
We’ve traveled down some pleasant roads, on our way to Heaven.
We’ve looked into each other’s eyes – seen both joy and despair.
We’ve wondered how we’d make it when resources were not there.
In looking back to find just how this love of ours began
I believe it is controlled by some divine master plan.
I believe if God does not exist there’d be no you and me.
And all this time together would be less than destiny.
I know that my redeemer lives – God’s word tells me so –
He sent you as a soul mate as through this life I go.
He knew there would be obstacles; I know He put some there
To determine if we’d solve them with the mighty gift of prayer.
I believe the lesson we have learned in traveling down life’s road
Is to bring our troubles to Him to lighten up the load.
We realize that we’ve been blessed sharing time together here
Still one decision faces us --- Shall we try for one more year?

Do you ever even attempt,
For us to see eye to eye?
Have you ever seen me cry,
And for a split second,
Wonder why?
And when I am down,
Have you ever even noticed my frown?
No. But how can this be?
It's simply that you can't see the answers clearly.
So can you try?
Try for me?
Of course, it is not a cry of a beg.
Just a whispering desperation,
A question that should have been said.
So all I ask is for you to hear my plea,
Also to do the simple task,
And please try...
Try for me.
(this poem is about someone that is close to me family wise... i hope that this makes the poem more meaningful.. thank you for reading.)
