The Laws of Attraction
(A lone voice whispers)
Do you believe in the laws of manifestation
When I started writing poetry
I visualised being the best version of:

So
Look up

Of choice
Will you be surprised if I'm the first name you'll see?
The question is:
Did I manifest a top ranking via Poemhunter
Or do people like you, still like and explore poetry, and use it as your own regular form
Of self-psychiatry?
And sometimes enjoy
sitting under my supernatural vocabulary tree
And reading these strands and whispers
I conjure out of The Great In-Between
And label them as my version of inspired

A face is rapidly tightening
Because a foe’s is brilliantly brightening,
Readily finding excitement
In his all-of- a-sudden disappointment.
A decided lurking behind concealments
To monitor enemy’s survivalist movements,
With sighs filling the air at all noticed improvements.
Dislike is a Junior Officer
To Top-Ranking Hate,
Dislike the les abominable howitzer
That does nerves grate…
Hate is usually at home with an enemy’s overkill
Or vaporization to the cloud,
His earthly sojourn bringing to a standstill
And chances ending for missions proud.
Dislike would subjects leave alive,
Save ones who into murky waters dive;
Hate the ear assaults with non-amorous verses
Of Die! Die!
And to the conscience keeps pushing truths
Consisting in Lie! Lie!

Jammin jammin jammin,
jam on rightful king.
In the lounges of Zion,
with your childhood ally.
Peter Tosh together rocking steady.
Rock on as it were in Trench town.
Robert Nesta Marley,
the stone that the builder refused.
Reggae`s undisputed cornerstone,
you adviced judge not.
That we check out,
the real situation.
And that one love,
should emit positive vibration.
Africa unite,
smile Jamaica.
Who the cap will t,
time will tell.
We shall pay no mind,
to top ranking.
We shall be,
easy ‘skanking’.
So much trouble in the world,
but atleast the sun is shining.
