I spent my day shopping for rubies
Can you picture a grown man doing that
But I was assigned to a very special mission
To decorate the new Queen of England's hat
What happened to Elizabeth II, you gasp
Oh, she decided to abdicate now that Meghan
Markle has lost much of her luster and sparkle
Since the news leak 'bout her and Patty Reagan
What? Patty Reagan! The -- ahem -- alternative kind
Of lover for Ms. Meghan? Why, that's truly alarming
Especially for Prince Harry (The guy must be blind)
He can't find this development too charming...
But, O! About those rubies I was shopping for --
I was trying to find some color other than red
Yet hot pink was the lone shade in the bloody spread
O, dread. Some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed
So, I finally settled on these rave ultra-cheapies
Not to snicker: I just picked 'em from Rookery's 'ruby-tree'
And don't you worry. They'll suit the new Queen 'to a T'

First Line Prompt - 3 Poetry Contest

Sun and light fit to a T,
They combine to be bright;
A nature's perfect alliance
Is setting the day aright.
Moon and stars fit to a T,
They share the night in silence;
Meditation has begun,
Using the deepest sense.
Clouds and sky fit to a T,
Often they are white and blue;
Sometimes they are gray,
When there's a storm anew.
Morn and dew fit to a T,
Behold the lovely dawn;
Take an early walk,
And see the rise of beacon.
A precise one new man
Is made of head and body;
Likened to husband and wife,
Christ and Church fit to a T.
A new birth young baby;
Crying in it's skin;
Open up shower curtains;
A nude human being stands;
I shall not view, because it's not new;
But my eyes close instantly;
Because everything uncovered not meant to see;
What isn't ours nor mine new to a T;
