Pelted with such incredible force
one hundred and ten on that fastball;
Harder to dodge than anything in sports;
Foggy you’re lost within a pitfall
sweet nothings condensed on your cheek;
That whisper is the be all end all;
Flooding you and now you’re left weak,
rambling and gambling placing bets;
You’re lost toting a winning streak;
Confused and so happily distressed,
Stuck on lips coated in liquid bullets.
Let your words not hinder, but be a balm.
He is someone's significant other,
and as they kiss, may your conscience be calm.
He's long been a best friend to another,
tossing back and forth sports balls and wisecracks.
Though annoying, siblings love their brother.
This hardworking son helps Dad with wood stacks,
and excels in gym, his preferred subject,
trading with his peers for favorite snacks.
He's someone's someone, so show him respect,
giving honor to those who know him well.
Before speaking unkindly, please reflect
that waves trinkle to shores after they swell.
The ocean is full of stories to tell.

Thinking memories back in my childhood
Only the meaningful ones I recall
I have so many, some bad and some good
Camping in winter, spring, summer and fall
Biking and hiking through paths made of dirt
Playing my most favorite sports- baseball
Rolling down mountains, grass stains on my shirts
So shy was I, so very soft spoken
Flirting with schoolgirls in short mini-skirts
I still have that amusement park token
Hanging in arcades with some of my peers
My first girlfriend- she left me heartbroken
Remembering...I find myself in tears
So many memories, all of my years
