Terrazzo, Terrazzo!
Keep me satisfied
She curfewed all
With an artisans
Doing of work
A world shall envy me
That my floors shall
Be works of art
Clean enough for people
To dine
I shall stand before them
And brag that it is mine
Those novice wishers
Who wish to how it was
Done
Shall hear the stories of
This artesians labor and
The price of the contractal
Science we had begun.

surreal shadows
across
terrazzo spaces
erupt
to depict fragments
of antique
tapesteries
a backdrop
mushrooming
in beautiful
fungal features
swaddled tightly
in a softening display
of suave elegance
festooned
in tastefulnesss
so
arresting
a repetitive
attraction

Beneath your dress is a castle where all men wish to enter,
I'm more than just a tourist who'll spark up your stairs with golden tiles
and cover its floors with smooth terrazzo.
The erotic barriers of your colourful underwear steam up curiosity when pulled out.
Our hunger seem isolated but releases burning instincts out of a long quarantine
as mood steadily transit into the private zone like melting butter.
My sexual craft, so bad for goodness to envy
will develop a hundred senses for yearnings to gradually diffuse round.
We will ride like a ship without Anchor and a vehicle without brake
yet, never directionless
then both souls will gum into one
as they maneuver through a tight corridor with lips on lips.
Love is made so powerful from this wonderful art
which stains an entire ocean red,
time explodes from the flames coming from two sources,
as flesh meets flesh to form the highest faculty of pleasure.

Street lights,
on a wet night,
reflecting, glowing like
terrazzo stars embedded in
the street.

The Hotel brochure came by post
and told me all that I should know.
With not much time to make a choice,
I booked my Room and set to go.
The pictures showed a sunken bath,
with fluffy towels and marble loo;
a typhoon shower, terrazzo tiles,
it even had a bidet, too!
They asked me, did I want to have
a whopping king-sized double bed,
indeed, perhaps, I’d much prefer
a boudoir – for the newlywed?
I gazed upon a sandy beach,
with swaying palms, a lavish view,
and, just nearby, the swimming pool
looked crystal clear and sparkling blue.
So, here I am and weary from
a long and somewhat tiresome flight,
to find my Room is rather small
and looks onto a building site!
