It happened we know it did,
One culture virtually annihilated,
Why??????
For being different that's why,
One man blamed everything on them,
Thought of them as sub human,
Something to get rid off,
Spouting evil his tenticles reaching far and wide,
Others started to believe his evil,
They where shoved into ghettos,
Made to wear a yellow star,
It was not enough he wanted them dead,
Walked to pits and shot dead,
Shoved into cattle cars going to camps,
Left or right ment life or death,
Gas chambers at the ready,
Romani gypsies, homosexuals those physically and mentally disabled murdered too,
God why????
His name is well known,
Those murdered their names forgotten,
Prey to all the gods of the world ..... never again.

Dark spirals waft their evil tenticles
About all my friends...
Hungry to devour hearts,
if not souls...
We need our Protector,
As we rarely call out to,
To see us through these times
Our appeals
Through the burst of prayers
You surely noticed...
With none more sorely pleaded for,
Than but for the innocent children
Help us, Dear God.

The light no longer sparkles in her once brilliant eyes
Listening carefully to hear her softly muttered cries
She hovers alone behind her closed bedroom door
Not yet ready to face what life still has in store
Once vibrant enthusiasm filled her body and sole
Listless, drained so frail her cancer taking its toll
Dread disease evil tenticles devouring all in its path
Lying still avoiding movement to chase away it's painful wrath
Never complaining only praying for those she will leave
Knowing for them it will take some time for them to grieve
Women who's treasured spirit will linger long after she is gone
Service rendered to strangers and friends her entire life long
Closing tormented eyes she slips from this mortal existence
Arms held forth to engulf her sweet heavenly countenance
Joy there must be as she meets those who’ve gone before
As she walks gracefully through heavens door
Note: 48 years and she still holds that special place in my heart. She blessed every life she
touched.
The little farming town filled the church to overflowing when she left us. You would have thought
she was a celebrity.
