What is logical
May not be biblical.
What is biblical
May not be logical.
Reveal man's folly!
Shame their wise!
His manifold wisdom-
Hidden in a must-read.
For in it, He says,
“I will crush their wisdom,
Sages are dumbfounded.
Behold, My open-book!
I know where you live,
And everything you do,
Either a source of comfort,
Or a cause for alarm!"
Sennacherib sent packing,
Back to Nineveh,
Back to Nisroch,
His idol could not save.
What wisdon is this?
A face full of offal,
A tail between his legs,
Struck down by his sons!
Man cannot prevail
Apart from his Maker.
Stop judging the Judge!
Make His wisdom supreme.
Shave the devil naked
get that tail between his legs
Leave him bald and impotent
all passion left in dregs
Fleece this vile pestilence
in the flames his fate ensnared
Shear what he embraces most
— temptations curse laid bare
(Dreamsleep: December, 2023)
He starts out with arrogance that could kill a dinosaur.
His pompous attitude blowing up his head like a rooster’s comb.
But when the rest go after him, he slips and slides down on his back.
Landing in a foxhole, alone and embarrassed – possibly ashamed even.
He can barely pull himself out of the mire and the muck.
He is stepping on his hang dog jowls, looking silly
We try not to laugh, but some of us are unsuccessful,
Remembering how pompous he was in the beginning.
Many ah nights wed sit on our ain,
Wondering weather or no my da wid be hame.
Ma poor wee maw she's gone insane
Coz hes always dain it tae her again .
Wen he's drunk he didn't care.
my mas away oot she was storming aboot

no even to see his two wains.
hink he forgets were he stays some days
but hell be back in a couple ah days
way his tail between his legs.
but my maw she always forgives him
she always dus.he just gees her at wee look
