In my sleepless nights

In my sleepless nights
I toss in bed
Back in forth
It drives me insane
Because I am not able to sleep
Also it is very hot in my bedroom
I can't stand that
I am also sweating like a pig
I am wearing also
My pajama to bed
Yes I already had to drink
Hot milk with honey
To help me fall asleep

Alcaniz Street

cars in the sky
            flying by
rubber throbbing along, over the concrete and
       blistering blacktop
riding in and out the painted
                lines

over the dull colored snatches of
raggedy wigwams
scattered about
beneath the shadows and shades
of the great strips of
interstate
with their festering trails of fetid
strewn
trash
piles of trash

folks, and failed cynics. half - ass cynics
who can't cut that final tie
to those lingering inclinations of
signs seen and
understood. inferred to the
good
wanting others to hand over their small
change

and I
stacking blocks across
    the eyeless sockets of a
      thick brick skinned
    fossilized
      shrine
sweating like a pig
in the late october
heat
wondering where the hell
the fall
is

Phobias

Eight legged creatures
the fangs and thier poison bite
or them just crawling on you in the night.
A serpent sneeking up on you
squeezing you,so tight.
Standing on a balcony
oh the fear of great heights.
Standing in a spot light
speaking to a crowd.
or being on your own
and no one cares any more.
jumping on a jetplane
flying miles into the sky
well it is only a flying tin can
thats stopping you falling from the sky.
Then theres thunder and the lighting
the gods are having a fight.
your nerves are fit to break
your sweating like a pig
your hearts beating in your chest
you are wishing you were dead
all because of the monsters
that are throwing a party in your head.

Meth

Life moving quickly,
Reflexes out of control,
Chewing piece after piece of gum,
Smoking cigarettes one after the other.

Thinking a million and one thoughts per second.
Paranoia has the best of me,
Missing my love to the worst extent,
Typing faster than a hurricane can blow.

Sweating like a pig,
Or so it feels.
Not comprehending what others are saying,
Becoming nervous and wanting more.
