Reflection past with an after effect prove
Civil Rights powerful
A voice of meaningful words
“BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY THEORY”
Knowledge and Wisdom of principles
Set the stage for foundation
I had the honor and pleasure of having Malcolm X’s Widow, Dr. Betty Shabazz as my Professor on the subject of IN SEARCH OF WELLNESS class at CUNY MEDGAR EVERS COLLEGE
Malcolm X was a standalone
A man full blown
History being well known
The push for Civil Rights change
Opposition just couldn’t remain
Malcolm X name represented greatness
I can account being the witness
Malcolm X was no error, but a count on
Feared no one
A name that will always be remembered
Movement of achievement
Malcolm X was killed for civil rights he believed in
His voice like a woodman’s Ax
Loud and verbal
His time on Earth was allowed
X marks the spot
He was a man of like it or not.

And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers
that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow,
he will certainly care for you.
—Luke 12:28
saw my first yellow daffodil, not ever,
but mine.
a standalone on the hill;
my husband sighs,
as he points it out.
the sun is a standalone;
His;
yellow-white, bright.
our attention transfixed.
I am a standalone
me -
the crucifix,
to carry;
I walk with Him,
under the sun and clouds.
God lets us glory
on a fixed moment,
as if it were framed, not always.
each tear that falls,
from my green eyes,
is saved
by Christ.
I emphasize;
He underlines
and exclamation points.
how this can be,
with infinity,
our small minds
cannot divine.
saw my first daffodil, there’ll be more,
they’ll spring, and wither;
and so will I,
but don’t be glum,
I am already buried,
like a seed,
planted, and ready
to rise,
inside a Garden of Pearls.

As sunset falls
On a bright warm day
A hallowing wind
Of a cold breeze makes its way
A beautiful night
With a soft violet warm sky
Could only be created
From an artistic eye
A magical event
Played out in full view
A single standalone pale white gloom
From a very profound
Characteristic faraway moon
Perfectly sphere in all its light
Depth of sparks as the stars’ shine bright
As we sit together comfortably tight
A shooting star
With a colourful silver stream
What more could I wish for
You are my perfect dream.

My father passed a few years back, and he keeps appearing in my dreams, always on the same street and roughly the same dialogue. The poem/story has no real format. Just my feelings on it. Thanks!
Silent Street
On streets where past and present collide, holograms ride delta waves
You sidle up, gate light and easy, mid conversation
I Parse the rhetoric for glimmers of acceptance
But again benign, drivel muddles the way
The one sided blather on photography labors uncontested
Your catalogue, a thorough exhibition of you
Fitting. Buried emotions etched in celluloid
Reveling in silent shame, feeling a camaraderie
of sorts
Time is short, so silent I stay
Ears hinged for signs of accountability
A modicum of responsibility
And so I wait...
The pipe store beckons, it's almost time
Fading into the night he says We'll meet up later
I know we will. So Maybe, next time.
Till then, in silent space, I standalone. Apologies unrendered.

Naked but strong the tree stands still
Her autumn coat upon the ground
She’ll standalone against the chill
So proud of that rustling sound
As her final leaf touches ground

People are like books.
Some are big, some are small.
Some come in a set, and some
Are standalone.
Some are new.
Others: used.
Some hardcover, and some soft.
Some, we know we will never read again
Yet we keep them for the memory.
Some we are sad to let go of,
But know there’s always another waiting out there to be read.
The one thing that never changes,
Is that they are all books.

If people stands opposite, don't bother anything.
If people are similar and closer, don't rely on everything.
Majority doesn't mean justice.
There are many cases of mob basis.
They say, "help me at any cost, because we're friends."
But never say, "I'll do everything for you, because we're friends."
True trust does not require the same thinking.
I'll prefer standalone rather than easy crowding.
Who can admire ones, always saying only "yes" ?
That is a word only a tool to stress.
Who can respect ones, never doing things by own effort ?
That is a behavior only for cheap comfort.
They call me, "You are always alone, how miserabe"
But I want to say, "It's you all, really innocence and miserable !"
Because I know one, who knows me in best way.
Even invisible for others, I'm with this partner all day.
