Most votes went to Spender or Spendy
While few went to Thrifty
Who couldn’t keep pace
And fell out of the race
For he came up lame
Right during the game
But what was his name?
Who cares
Speaking of who cares
About Spendy or Spender
Because either of them
Will go on spending benders
Just to satisfy
Their central bank guy
Whom they can’t deny
And is the reason why
(Though most don’t know why)
They all voted for Spendy or Spender
And could care less about Thrifty
Oh my
(And no, Thrifty is NOT Biden)
English Poet Stephen Spender
political verse seemed to prefer
Later though a change instead
to the apolitical he was led
Gender of Spender and Address of Sender
Were guaranteed what would be gender,
Of person who had been a big spender;
Name of game;
Both the same,
As address of wife who was the sender.

There once was a banker from Kent
Whose life was fanatically bent
On saving each quid
Like no other did
And moaning with each pound he spent
Caveat Spender
by Michael R. Burch
It’s better not to speculate
"continually" on who is great.
Though relentless awe’s
a Célèbre Cause,
please reserve some time for the contemplation
of the perils of
EXAGGERATION.
Gender of Contender Who Is Biggest Spender
We always wondered about the gender,
Of the people who will be the contender;
Far above best;
Passed each test;
Not only that has been biggest spender.
