Spartan was a wicked task
Full unmasked the evil presence
Violence against a brother rewarded
Quick the silencer will reap
For no value kills another
Yet the process lumbers on
In the wood and city streets
Another victim preyed upon
How shall we make amends?
By the precepts of His laws?
The balance greater drifting onward
Sees the shifting of relief
One cannot help but cry aloud
For violence continues to this day
So when you see a fallen one
Ask what price demanded Him to pay?
So Baltimore the place of honor
Chicago maims not far behind
"To each his own" the saying goes
Some recompense repaid each time

Lives in my homeland
He fights not the enemy,
but himself in the mirror.
The mirror eternally strong,
will never break into pieces
One day Spartan boy will tire,
and collapse due to fatigue.
and accumulated impiety

A Spartan Life - (g&g)
Spartans have no blemishes, no fears, kill inferiors
Destroy their sick and babies with imperfections
By sword or place them by a mountain side
Wolves take care of these matters in savage manner
Make meals of the weak in quick fashion
Nature turns the other way
Reserves judgment on the warrior nation
Ready for death at any moment
Model citizens must fight or die
Etch out the future to survive
Wield weapons faster than the enemy
Draw blood to make a point
Spill guts to make their gain
Glory comes at a price
A Spartan life

Imagine home's a shopping cart
Imagine nothing in the larder
Imagine what would fill your heart
Ignore it and your life grows harder
How many shoes from which to choose
How many sweaters make you better
How many starving on the news
Will make you see that greed's a fetter
Deny a crave, an urge, a cheat
Deny yourself that extra bite
Deny a want, a gift, a treat
Have just enough, to sleep at night
Take less to put upon your plate
Take just enough to feed your soul
Take only what you need to sate
Not all you fit within your bowl
Discard the cushy cloak of excess
Discard the lazy ways of ease
Discard those once prized assets
Downsize from wants to needs

I am a spartan,
feel my wrath,
when I fight it's victorious,
no matter what the odds,
I'll bow to no man,
men will bow before me,
if we ever meet on the battle field,
I will set your spirit free.
I will fight to the end,
for that's the spartan way,
I will never give in to ternary,
I will never change my ways.
I'll toast to your bones,
should you chose to come,
I only wish for the same glory,
if i'm ever the one.
I live by a code,
a warrior to the end,
only in death can I truly be glorified,
as a mighty spartan.

Eyes like the Aegean Sea,
Burn with a passion for life.
Like underwater volcanoes that erupt and make the sea rage.
Poseidon striking the sea floor.
With the intensity for experience,
Like the fire that smolders deep within your essence;
As if Hephaestus, God of Fire placed this potency within your heart.
Raven tresses frame the noble gentleman
Traveling along his journey like a silent Spartan: King Leonidas.
With Themis and Dike protecting him in battle; guiding his sword and shield.
Appointing him to be the leader of justice for mankind.
Like the regal Lion that sits upon his golden throne high in the Heavens for all to
see. Forever etched in the memories of men: so are you--endless;
Sitting with Hercules on Mount Olympus.
Celestial orbs safeguard the one whose utterances are as vast as the
mountainous landscape.
And whose songs are as boundless as the sea itself.
