In the midnight of 23rd May
They heard a voice of cries
A little saddy and sobby
May might bright something misty!
Seems to be strange when cries are out
While others are laughing out loud!
They shouted May brought candle in the dark
The moon in the night
The light of days has appeared
Some shouted and others did!
She has born,they kept shouting
But though she was born
Born from the cries, born from the struggles but she was born for the purpose
I heard this from them!
She was born
Born for herself
Born for her people!
Yet she was born
Born for her country
Born for Africa!!!

Her philosophies and soul truth ran out onto the crisp white paper
In gulpy, sobby, unassuming black globs and really messy smears,
Immediately horrifying and alerting her always aware dendrites.
Are you crazy? What do you think you are doing? They demanded.
Feeling giddy with new-found independence, also, unexplain-ably weepy
The warrior princess poetess stuck out her tongue and pressed submit,
‘Twas the first of an intense series of status quo battles she would have
Releasing herself from polite societal chains, there was no stopping her!
