Wishing and wanting to be
An
Olympic Triathlon Gold Medal Winner
Knowing full well in order to succeed
This specific individual feat requires
3 different apposing skillets
So I went in search of 3 of the very best
coaches in each individual particular
event and discipline
So I got Memo to teach me how to run
Forrest Gump how to swim
And Lance Armstrong to teach me how
to ride a bike
And most of all how to cheat at all 3

Her world is a paranoid marketplace.
Fear is the zeitgeist and panic her shame.
She’d married her psyche to a dog whistle pimp
Who’d promised her he’d drain the swamp.
And sure enough, he did.
Drained it right into her swimming pool.
Idea thieves, poetry forgers, and high-water prophets
Trouble her intangibles to no end of sadness
With pressed-flower language, and wallpaper promises.
They give her Teflon skillets, microwavable plastic,
Flushable wipes, and jade v*gin* eggs
With which to contemplate the world to come,
While she’s sipping absinthe with Pablo, of course.
Now the dinky engine is on the narrow gauge
Approaching a junction packed with
Fingernail dirt and tactical nukes.
The flood of refugees is on the rise,
Taking the road to more primitive times.
Someone drank all the sanctified church wine.
Now she waits for the suicide drones.
Rosewater tonics won’t offer relief
When the bill for the wedding comes due,
Her field of dreams beneath a mushroom cloud.

The Ducktwirt sat fudged in mud.
The gills rippled in worrying curves.
Danger was near.
The Quagmire Sea was no joke.
Skillets, Searpuckers, and Throttlecocks
Ravage these waters.
Ducktwirt's don't stand a Wormblat's
Chance in a gungle reef.
Then came the Zoomer
With its triangular cords and its dalliphins,
And the low limbering light hushing
Through the chillier depths to find the Ducktwirt's 4th eye.
It leapt towards the light
Florid with vigor and screw-all.
We eat it, now,
This Ducktwirt.
With lemon and basil.
Sandra caught it.
My youngest.
Pictures of the event
Fluttered in the air,
Above her smiling face,
Awash with glee.

Content With Tears
Oceans have high salt content
Moons are cold and dry
The sun is not the place to fry an egg
Iron skillets evaporate from such heat I hear
Back on Earth things seem to be alright
Generally speaking, there is day then night
It is all about equilibrium within acceptable parameters of life
Proper context, melding, blending, being content
In one’s environment
Rain contains a lot of water
Tears also have their share
I understand they too have high salt content
This and every day of the year

The ad stated that
the prospective employee
should have the ability
to prepare and serve food samples
using small appliances such as
microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers
and knives.
He had a background
with knives.

From the bottom of my heart
I thank you honey bee
for all that liquid gold
that's bought and sold
Your precious honey from your tiny womb
Yes God bless thy fine honeycomb.
But sorry for stealing
your liquid of healing!
And thankyou baa baa bleating sheep
for your warming fluffy wool
The cold makes the babies weep
and they could die of the cool.
Mother hen to you thankyou
for protein packed trays of gratis eggs
and forgive me, for delicious drumstick legs!
And mooing cows sorry for taking
your calf's milk we too love drinking
for cakes have to be baking
Ah, and apologies for loving those tasty fish fillets
Coated and fried in those fine sizzling skillets
And thankyou little silkworm
Silken dresses have been the norm
Deers thankyou for musk, and venison for the meal
Apologies to calves for partaking of their veal.
Ah thankyou God for all that food
If we thank Him not we're ingrates rude.

I always like Fall best
You can eat buttery pancakes
From huge Ihop
And Omelets
And Toast
And skillets
And lots of Reese
And Butterfingers
And Twix
At the colorful gas station
And listen to
Nice relaxing music
On the hill
At the Mt. Rushmore
And go to the Corn Palace with
My friend Troy
And go to the baseball game
And watch the sunset setting
