Zombified

Lately,
I’ve been wondering of death
If dying was an act of giving up
And losing faith
In life itself
Of feeling soulless
And cut
Would it be easier to be nothing
I have no regrets but one
And it holds to my back
A tree to the ground

Heads bowed, eyes focused,
The magic of the Hocus Pocus.
Transfixed, in a spell
Nothing else will they dwell.
Walking around zombified
Surely brains, have been fried.
Life ruined, no conversation,
Texting now the inspiration.
Grasp of language, long forgotten,
Shortened text – yuk, it’s rotten,
GR8, LOL, TLC, OMDB,
Worlds gone mad, OMG!!

Those Zombified Clones

Capital city
But oh such a pity
So noisy
So crowded
they look
but don't see

Crowds
just shop
Crowds
should stop
To view
our majestic history

With heads bowed low
Return to their homes
Fingers still typing
Those zombified clones
