Now that we have found it
Avoid the crowded sound bit's
That only try to pound rift's
Jealous wedge to lifelong love quest

the polished blade glides
precisely to and fro
dusting the mulch below,
the angled wedge shapes the fall-
timber...the echoed call.

Yet whilst ajar, my hopes are wafer thin,
as door is slight, then wide awake am I
constraint of dismal days without reply
hopeful that if somehow, light shines in.

I do not know?
with a wedge of glass
we split the rainbow
separate colors
into organized rows
of light
they stack
like dominoes
ready to topple
should we turn the lens

our bond formed before your first cry~

Pledge To Do
There are certain things to do that I pledge;
Between myself and others create a wedge;
Aid and assist,
And not resist;
Be careful when I am walking near a ledge.

he used his piton and his wedge
seated them with the thump of his sledge
then he stood at the crest
of her milky white breasts
looking down from atop the cleave-edge

Limerick
The passage
narrows
as I incautiously
wedge onward.
At this stage in the game
do I still have to worry
about finding the way back?
Why can't I
just let the days lighten, darken,
terminate?

Politics
the wedge
that splits
our kinship
Trapping
what we feel
inside
our thoughts
Mutually
excluding
what fate
has destined
Zero sum
prison
allegiance

Two AM.
The slice of sun
replaced by wedge of moon-
light.
Upon the zabuton,
no cat now,
merely me.
And truths spill and
tumbleclatter;
echo from my
heart...
in similes,
in mettaphor-
in lies.

You are they wedge between the stone that moves me
You are the heart that beats for me
You are the wind that gives me air
You are the Feet that help me to walk
You are the eyes that make me see
You are my poetry

Dark cloud clumps drape the rising sun
Deep within the hollow heart they burn
The scene of silver lined art-form
The new day gets from the storm
Joy flashing as the lightning wedge
Strife-surged life finds at pain’s edge

A katydid stopped at my door.
Wedge of green gossamer
But something more.
I angled to get a closer look.
Intrusive I fear was I.
He quickly me forsook.
Off to call at another door
Winged wisp of wonder
On a neighborly autumn tour.

our unfettered dream run
when realized, lets life fly onto golden wings
so much fun!
a freedom's wedge
seeks sacrifices in its rings
else sledge!!
fulfilled
inner soul sings
thrilled!!!
our unfettered dream run
seeks sacrifices in its rings
thrilled!!

Braising sun stagnate, scaring blistering air, sand cutting strafing, more will I mention, elements raising, wedge freely created, by those who do not care.
Floods freely forging, water crushing scare, wave weaving pressing, life lightly wasted, warnings for all to beware.

Dark cloud clumps drape the dawn sun
Deep within void heart they burn
Gift of silver line art-form
New day gets from edge of storm.
When mind sinks in agony
Soul lights lamp of ecstasy
Joy in heart as flashing wedge
Storm surged life finds at pain’s edge.

Stark space
could allow for ease
of breath,
but flooded glow washes
in unrest.
Wood burned mirror
rest in farthest
corner wedge.
Its trim scrolls
heavenward in facile
attempts.
Obsidian glass obstructs
true face.
Instead providing
an image voided
of narcissistic delight.

There you are
Sitting in a tree
Stretching out your wings
The master of all you see
And looking straight at us
Then I see you flying up high
As we see you fly across the azure blue sky
You have been here as long as the wind
And will see the world renew when it begins again.

Ballad
I imagine you with the ten inch chef’s knife honed to razor edge
My eyes closed against the fear within, weeping for the danger without.
Your tender silk soft hand clenched tight ‘round the haft, a lily white wedge
Raised above my chest as I sleep, to plunge right down, hoping that I do not shout.

outside the fire
you go left
not from fear, but roots
that stretch far beyond
the reach of family ties
inside the fire
I go right
and pray our heirs
find the wisdom of savants
much more to their liking
these sides have risen
a gap has been formed
the wedge between us
cries out for breast milk
