my eyebrow flew off yesterday and i yelled so loud that my water glass broke. then joe poopenheimer, my brother, fell down the stairs and died.
Sea horse mania is afoot
I see them in my sleep
Thanks to a collector daughter
They prance and neigh
Ridiculous I think
There is loud laughter
A splash from my water glass
Two land on my bedside table
The time is softly mending my heart and blossoming me into a sweet water glass. Many
would fight to taste but temptations stay at bay. Determination, Strength, un parted
flowers that crave pollination. I am who I am and I hope I continue to grow in this wine,
in this state in this calm.

WATER & GLASS
Watermarks
immersed in fluids
weave a whirlpool
stream of words
washing and waning
while
wavy waterways
weep
wet with tears
gurgles
will
gush
Translucent
crystal clear reflects
geometric gems
opaque flute glass
glacial
visible gloss
glimmers
glitter from guilt

where you must float around me
a snapped stone melted into
that bottom of water glass
beside myself, drift currents
it shattered up to sunrise
and rippled through my shirt for
my heart with blue lows drawing
from sea with her fingerprints
a million shores leading out
the more you ebb than ~our ebb~
we feel a thousand lifetimes
same reflections in our gills
Diamond of Jello
From my stool in the diner I watch
the old woman with elm tree arms
command the big booth in back
and roar for a menu,
take a half hour to read it
before placing her order.
Watching her eat, I realize
life for her is a dollop of whip cream,
a twirling ballerina, on a diamond of Jello.
I raise my water glass
in a silent toast. Bravo, I whisper.
I wish her good cheer.

Water glass up-side down.
Why do you have that frown ????
Need water soapbox clown.
Can't live without that drink.
Vomit into the bathroom sink.
Water has a putrid stink.
Baby needs some water.
Better off at the florist.
Call the people in congress hall.
There all at the ball.
Who then can I call ????
I'm only a few feet tall.
So I must die in horror ways.
ACID_RAIN water gives me pains.

JESUS SAVES
Fixed under water glass
Like a splinter beneath Poseidon's skin
There is no Sunday
And no one knows Rhyme
With her cool hands
And her goat's feet.
There are only
Walking dead
From whose wool-lined mouths
Pour blindfolds
And broken keys
Strangle holds
And bloody knees.
Rapunzel bruised
Left for dead forgotten
Bound and gagged
By her own golden hair.
Drowning in the Valium Bath
Warm and blind
Dying slow
But unaware.
