The 'Island Princess'
tethered to her post
basks in sun's radiance
her bow warm as toast
Comes time to depart
the fair bay where she moors
Tears shed rouse the dark ocean
when beauty there is lured
On cold and frosty mornings
I'll always keep you warm
Snuggle up real close to me
And fit into my form
My arms will wrap around you
I'll hold you oh so tight
Then wake you with a gentle kiss
Under blankets, out of sight
It's December now, the weather's turning
But in my heart a flame is burning

The heaters on high while I watch TV,
Bed is inviting it seems to me.
Sitting here wrapped up tight,
In a sleeping bag, what a sight!
Hot water bottle ready and hot tea too,
I'm off to bed before I get Flu!
