If you want to feel me
Walk a mile in my shoes
Just close my eyes
And feel what matters
For I am not who you think
A soul as restless as the sea
Just washing against foreign shores.

Walk a mile in my shoes
And clutch the pain I adore
That makes me the man that I am
Minus pain is to be a man no more
Walk two miles in my shoes
And lust as I do for better blues
Yet no changes I make
Regarding choices I choose
Walk three miles in my shoes
Taste, love, feel, and see what I see
Go for a million miles in my shoes
But understand this life is all me
Form:
Why do you stare .....
Stare at me?
Step a little closer
then you might just see.
Was it my shuffling?
That made you look fast
or was it my stumbling
when I walked past?
Whichever it was,
I truly don't care.
Walk a mile in my shoes,
I beg you, I dare.
I shake and stumble
with every move I make.
Hard to swallow ....
these pills I take.
For I have Parkinsons,
yes, it's true
but, as rude as you are,
I wouldn't wish it on you!
See my footprint that I placed in the sand
Follow it and fill it and then take a stand
Know the cause and walk a mile in my shoes
The path of righteousness is all you can loose
The journey to win is always painful and long
The fight for what’s right cannot ever be wrong
Speak your voice and let it be heard
Victory is in your grasp with a fist or a word
Rally the cry with your life’s final breaths
Can you understand the truth of my footsteps
