Election Wool

No voter gets an even break.
No truth may they apprise.
Taken to school
To play the fool...
Wool pulled o’er their eyes.

Recount

Trump claims he was chosen by God
To eliminate voter fraud
Electors beware
Trump's minions are there
"Correcting" each vote they find "odd"

Now Hear This

Barking dog, siren, and boom box
Are among the top voter squawks
There's no solution
To noise pollution
But your Congressman says money talks!

Hobble On Cassidy

Trump and Rudy were watching an oater
Thinking up ways to find one more voter
"Hobble on Cassidy
Drives herd mentality
Let's misquote her and find a promoter!"

Who Do You Trust

Two politicians look at the same event
They come up with two different sets of factors

A voter may not know which one to believe
Except to know they're both consummate actors

A Non-Voter Asks

Educated derelicts,
Professor of fools,
Scholars of crap,
Leaders that moo;

What is then intellect,
If honor is your weight in gold?
Such mineral torch can test,
Molten like poo.

End Up At Ballot Box

End Up At Ballot Box

Around in water were known to motor,
After we had become a great boater;
Found a campaign;
People were insane;
Went to ballot box and became a voter.

Confined and Aligned

Confined and Aligned

To one state as a voter we are confined
And with a certain party will be aligned;
Going national,
May be rational,
Or stay in past and time that is behind.

That Old White Joe

My friend's a Democrat voter named Flo
She told me, "I don't want that old white Joe! -- (Joe Biden)
We all want to see change
   The deck to rearrange --
Let's nominate a 'Lez for Prez,' you know!"

Registered Voter

Have I ever been a voter
No
But let me tell you why
Unless I know exactly
Exactly what they would do
Ok
I would vote then I cant
Manage my easy life
How am I supposed to
Deal with the stress
Of a horrible Man or Woman
In office for 4 years
And I helped elect them

The Transparent Candidate

He deserved all our votes and said why,
But attention was drawn to his fly;
He'd left it unzipped,
So one voter quipped,
"If you can't manage that, then goodbye."

Mother

Mother you have noble love
             confused as almost
             madness ... but it's will
             voluntary voter to welcome
             with remarkable and sacrosanct
             patience that even amazes,
             when caring and caring,
              of your children,
               your plants ...!

Conversation With a Voter

Let’s qualify voters.
What do you mean?
Since the Electoral College is here to stay
A system put into place by slave owners,
And no one tore it down with the statues,
Let’s make up our own rules.
Like what?
Let’s make voters take I.Q. Tests.
If they get below sixty-five percent, they cannot vote.
Can we still vote for the Electoral College?
Sure.
Okay.

We the Loyal Kick Dog

we
the defeated being
in the slogan of conqueror

we
the dependent lame child
in the independent constitution

we
the blind activist voter
in the eye witness breast of sun

we
the wounded survivor
on the cured smiling of mass-leader

we
the rumor of political price hike
in the barren womb of onion

we
the loyal kick dog
of republic royal govt.

Horn Haiku Low Economic Status

Horn Haiku LES

straighten out trump mess
his voters are les
do wear pants or dress

The lower the LES, IQ,
level of education the
more likely they are to
vote. Wonder how many
TINO's there are. (Trump
In Name Only). The more
likely voter is a male, the
more likely they will vote
for Trump. Do you remember
"Turn Lights on for Admiral."
Trump supporters need to
start seeing the light.

A Plea From a Disgruntled Voter

(Or Please God, Let It Be November 7th)

Dear senators, congressmen
Please hear my plea.
Your phone calls and commercials
Mean nothing to me.

Your muck-raking and mud-slinging
Go from night until noon.
This election could never
Be over too soon

Please understand, I've made my decision.
I don't need your e-mail or phone inquisition.

So please can we just stop the attacks
And go give each other a pat on the back.

After Not Standing the Smell and More

After Not Standing the Smell

Seems like wherever we did dwell,
After having sat for a short spell,
Confession;
A question;
Why could we not stand the smell.

Jim Horn

Odor of Each Voter with Mouth that Is a Motor

Was something about the odor,
That emitted from every voter;
Rather quaint,
And a saint,
Having mouth run by a motor.

Jim Horn

Might as well write them all together
so I will not go past my limit of 10.

Prejudicial Vote

Chicks,
Parading around in their tight jeans
In front of me
Some friendly
Some not.
Some will say outright,
What do you want?
One says,
That was brash.
I'm just here to vote, Miss.
Am I at the right station?
She inspects my voter ID.
We don't like your kind,
She says to me.
She then hands me a ballot.
Mister
Or,
Madam
President.
I cast my ballot.
I made my choice.
It's my vote.
It's my voice.
Upon leaving,
I said to the girl in tight jeans,
Bigot!

The Basket of Deplorables

Hillary referred to half of the voters as a “basket of deplorables,”
Grossly generalizing Trump’s supporters as not so adorable.
She is cutting off her nose to spite her face,
There are many who are undecided in this political race.

That is such a low opinion of the American people.
Hillary must not feel that U.S. citizens are equal.
Maybe what will sway the vote is her e-mail scandal…
It is just too much for the enlightened voter to handle.

I Am a Scrabble Head

The three letter words
like adz and avo delight me.
when you are a scrabble head like I am
you seek every spot to stick them in.

the skill is in connecting them.
They have to attach, which is the tricky
part. But learning all the two letter words
like jo, qi, bi, and za give it a bit of vim.

ow becomes row and then rowing
and vote becomes voter and then voters
you can play games all night now in the dark,
for your I-pad is backlit for playing him.
