Attractive scenes so manifold,
Pictures of the floating world unfold
Hiroshige's landscapes flow-
One hundred views of Edo
Now known better as Tokyo

Tribute to Hiroshige's wood block prints ukyo-e...

Premium Member Ruby Heart
I spent my day shopping for Rubies
And entered an old antique store
The owner took me to the back of the shop
Showed me a set and had me begging for more.

The one that stole my heart was a deep red
Encrusted with small pearls

50.

I drown within your most beautiful eyes,
through wonderful visions of precious love.
What visions I shall come to visualised,
come my beloved to Heaven above.
Sapphire eyes do become my paradise,
I now join your dreams, my beautiful dove.

I now swim within your lagoons of blue,
entranced by the blue sheen shining love-light,
Ever I see the glory that is you.
I lose myself in your eyes shining bright,
you are my delight.

Then up the arm, across the chest,
Along the back and down the other arm.

Like the owner her garment vanished.
A heap of shapeless yarn remained,
Resembling nothing so much
As poorly visualised memory.

Of worlds that could have been,
And possibilities that once were
And the chaos that now
Pervades her dreamless wake....
