My stint is to constrict,
Like a serpent on the offence.
Twisting and squeezing,
My pulchritudinous polka dots.
Whether my complexion burns like fire
Or freezes like ice
My chassis and tenuity hold true.
Versatility makes my copies
As I'm prerequisite to all.
Children abhor me,
Corpulent simpletons do likewise.
Prestigious parliament parade me
As I'm a sign of social standing.
You were an actor with great versatility.
There were appearances in many a television show and movie.
We remember you best as Congressman Morley
in “The Farmer’s Daughter”, a situation comedy.
You had your own world, and you welcomed us to it.
Many roles you took on seemed like a perfect fit.
You have passed on, and you’re someone we will miss.
You couldn’t have lived your life better than this.

Social Media, a much maligned platform
Neither incites nor recites cretin creeds to form and inform
Cultures and futures steeped in heaps of disorder
Which account holders in their folders call to order
To invent and reinvent possibilities so vile
They invite unfair criticism and cynicism imbued with bile.
Account holders on social media bear their fair share of responsibility
For actions and distractions they inject and project into social media versatility.
Slick it down with wax
It fits a crook
Tho' it could also be
a circus-master's look
Let it grow long, wooly and wild
It's an over-age, curly-haired child's
Squish it together into three teen males' little nubs
Presto! -- a psychotic 'student rifle club'
Eliminate its last faint trace
A dapper gent your life has just graced
A moustache is versatile, you will agree
