On My Mind
I cannot sleep for thoughts of you

You invade my senses - breathless

You sweep through me - unseen, yet there

Gentle upon my soul - are you

Where were you last night?

My soul aches in the ashes of memory

Every breath I breathe is yours

Take it - and let me rest

My love...

Rain
Rain, wet, cold, tiny little molecules, almost shaped like tagpoles, clear, yet shades of blue, pelting down as if almost new, breathtaking from the grey smoking chimney view, roaring winds sweep through the rear choking smog, enchanting, yet behold misery, frustration, panic, eagerness run through, back away, back away, from your rear window in situ.

The beauty of nature follows us
Wherever we go... here, there, high and low
Through sundials of time, places and circumstances
As changes sweep through our intricate lives,
The gift of nature trails behind and with us
Wherever we go or whatever we are faced with,
Remember, this gift of nature is with us, always!
        Look, watch, breathe, live ..!!

River Line
Shores off the bank bathe in beauty,
          sands sweep through my toes with delight-
Continuous streams of current
                   free me from the pain life offers.

             Through the mountains of Colorado flows
   reflections of my soul in the brooklet-
                     Cascades of life reveal my heart’s wonder
           as my spirit finds release in the mist.

If I were an angel with angel power,
I'd sweep through heaven this very hour.

I'd tap each soul and quickly bring
their songs to earth within my wings.

I'd collect their joy in one giant gust
and sprinkle it out like fairy dust,

on all who wait and long for a glance
of their beloved in rapturous stance.

But if by chance it blew awry,
I'd gather clouds from a sunlit sky,

then swiftly send a caressing wind
and wrap them in love that has no end....

In my hands,
This old book;
Feel browse tend,
Word lines hook.

Verse now blooms,
Thoughts of old;
Muse finds room,
Old takes told.

Flip each page,
Thoughts pile high;
Sweep through age,
Sense feel sigh.

Soul once here,
Speaks quaint voice;
Words flash clear,
Fling fresh poise.

Words edge on,
Touch of rhymes;
Once upon,
Dash of chimes.

Browse and dig,
Frame new feed;
Lift old wig,
Fix odd need.
