Premium Member The Big Why
why is there something
rather than nothing
because that's existence
reflected in your mind

the nature of the beast
an existence conundrum
a question-suit of armor
to hide from plain sight

that not-of-reflection
but of the mirror
that it remain
untainted

Don'T F It Up
Surrender
Lies
Upon the art of failure
The patchwork tailor
Of your suit of armor
You choose

Holds firm in the face of an onslaught
Brought upon oneself
From being oneself

The unworthy will jump
Before being pushed
And the keeper's will stand before
The doubt's land

Then the real work start's
With a simple
Apology

Don't F it up...

The Great Luminous Pearl
The knighthood of youth stands tall,
in his phantom suit of armor.
A wooden sword in earnest,
both the warrior and farmer.
He sees life in the bright day,
a mission simple and so plain.
Like a, "double O seven",
a sword umbrella for the rain.
Always there a gentleman,
ready to pedestal the girl.
For the shining of the night,
is the great luminous pearl.

When Love Dies
When viewed through eyes of a clouded mist
past events seem frozen in time.
A crystal ed suit of armor;
now lies broken in pieces.

Loves far beyond the realm of touch
are now gone; and old concepts;
are but distorted images.
All of which are but reflections in some broken glass.

Protected and hidden memories;
once found and gathered;
along with other treasures;
now lie broken and scattered....

A strong knight,
     a sword in hand;
          stands smug
                in his shiny
                     suit of armor fit
                         for a lord
                              or king.
A haughty
     highborn
         sworn by oath
                to uphold
                     laws of chivalry
                         with honor and valor,
                              for
both church and country!

In the Glory
In an ugly spurious narcissistic unworthy world I will remain just your authentic bonafide realistic all American down to earth girl next door sitting on her
genuine pedestal of living values wearing my suit of armor, high heals, matching lipstick and crown of victory to protect myself from the wrath that people choose so selfishly to express.
I will remain humble and kind while taking in the glory of surviving in this unworthy world...

Warped Self
Look into the mirror
What do you see
A false suit of armor
That doesn’t let you free
Of its heaviness
The false part of you,
The part that brings unhappiness
Makes you want to do
Things others wouldn’t approve
Because what you see in front
Is not you, and you can prove
This is true, if you show your mind’s haunt
The person in the mirror is not me
The person I’m inside in not reflected in reality

Lost Again
...wait just a minute,
Now I know where
I was going to go,
And who I am;

I am Sir Lancelot,
The legendary knight of Camelot,
Dressed in a shiny suit of armor
bound for King Arthur's
Knights of Round Table.
I do have tall tales to tell,
Tales of exploits, chivalry
and adventures;
I...........
Someone from a passing car
yells out: "Hey, you look
good in your birthday suit!"
