That was the only thing I missed in this pâtisserie
COPLA VEINTE : This Bad Guy World
Expose the wiles of the Bad Guy
He’ll stoop low and use stratagem
And if he fails
He’ll cry foul play and devise ploy
Hold himself out as the rare gem
The World defiles
If you succeed in nailing him:
He’ll say pro patria mori
Or some such god
If you then let him play victim
You’ll fall right into his hands free:
Like him be sod

If the foe is far too strong for you today,
just save your strength, backtrack very cautiously
that you may still live to fight another day;
go back to the drawing board immediately,
a prudent retreat really matters as much
as a crushing assault carried out quickly;
patience, guile, perfect timing make the difference,
there are no flawless stratagems of attack,
only short-sighted strategies of defense!
we all are slaves in time's ship
held hostage to a promise of eternity
as the sails fill, oars are manned
we journey into life
facing contretemps in some moments
while lucky stars at times command the bow
we sail away
and the stratagem is to open the eyes
let the future reign
give yourself happiness
in every possible moment
yesterday is a lesson
that we champion in the day
where hope comes with expectations
in every tomorrow
