Premium Member Sensationalism Or Journalism

Listen to poem:
(Another childhood or teen years poem.)

Newsprint small talk
in Mediocrity's lead pot
rustles and gossips while,
splashed spectacularly across
the speckled page of
Society's intellect,
a murder making column one
hides the hushed massacre
of minds.

Premium Member I Failed

I failed
I failed
I failed
I took that pic and strummed like there’s no tomorrow
I failed
I spectacularly failed
I fell forward again only to fail to no avail
I continued to fail
I failed so badly life just smirked at me and spit
I didn’t notice
I was too busy failing
I forgot to quit

Premium Member Let's Not Argue

You say miracles are impossible,

and belief in them, toss-ible.

But, if nothing can explode, spectacularly--

resulting in everything that be,

then impossibilities are possible, dear friend,

and miracles can happen. The End.

Luminous Aura

Last night, the "wolf moon's" crepuscular aura glowed, A luminous peach orb, it hung in its abode so spectacularly, that I silently slowed my weekend walk through the willowwacks, while words flowed. 08.09.2020 Taken from "Moonlit thoughts" written on 01.14.2017

Premium Member Dour Ferris Wheel Rondine

Dour ferris wheel, are you haunted?
Dark a place to sit peacefully,
enjoy a spell if you’re lonely;
Disguised cloaked in what I wanted,
my insecurities flaunted;
False eyes like you understood me;
Dour ferris wheel
everything inside you taunted;
Needling me repeatedly
low lights glow spectacularly;
Your gloom never left me daunted,
Dour ferris wheel.

Thank You

Hills spectacularly methodical
favour melting snow an frozen tops
alight there; like a plume in motion
inspire optics an deepen desire
to believe in all natures grant
an swing in diamond caverns
feel autumn spring summer
cuddle winter an season spice
raise thou own chamber
an sip bubbled pure silk water
breathe then worshiped air
an thank e're for grace given for e'er

Balloon

Today I am a child
All blue and
Melting into the pavement
Missing something
Spectacularly small

It is round and yellow and left me
To join his friend in the corner of the sky.

For now I cannot imagine ever going on
Without my balloon of happiness
Entwined between my fingers

But happiness isn't a balloon
Happiness is finding the wings to join it
And never looking back.

Premium Member he had a quixotic attitude

He had a quixotic attitude
a true idealist
who believed in possibilities
the possibility of world peace
he spoke of this often
a spectacularly optimistic believer in goodness

he could have started a cult
if he had wanted to do so
a leader who inspired those lucky enough to know him
he passed at an early age
but left a marvelous legacy

he was a fabulous idealist
with a quixotic attitude
that has inspired many to try to achieve his level of optimism

Premium Member Hammy the Hamster

Hammy the Hamster had no particular talent that he knew.
He did have a long fat tail that spectacularly grew and grew
One day he fell into some paints, and his paws turned out blue.
He made the cutest prints on a canvas, then slid in some glue.

You are an artist! His mother and father said, admiring him so.
They told every hamster from Des Moines to KoKoMo.
He has been featured in Art Magazines and has had a show.
His favorite paints are the psychedelic acrylics that really glow.
