Massachusetts

In a house in Massachusetts
A wealthy mother of two sits
Her son's in the Sox
Where she has a box
And that's where his sister Sue sits.

My Clothes Poem

My Clothes Poem

What we found out is everyone knows,
About size, style and shape of clothes;
Suit should try,
Along with tie,
And shoes and sox that cover our toes.

If I ever did
2004 2007 2013
Believe in this team
Can we control ourselves
And let them play up
To potential
A rallying cry
Goes out
Above the green monster
As Napoli is a hero
Not just to me

Fox In the Snow

Cuddled from afar;
Love at first sight.
Not for what, cheeks would mark
Bites wild, in the fox!

Content left snowed on;
Heart-melting quite.
Not for what, cots would ditch
Runs wild, in red sox!

World Series Wins

Yankees twenty- seven times
maybe some of them were crimes

Cardinals won eleven
taking their fans to heaven

and the Red Sox won eight
I do appreciate

a few teams tied with five
keeping the love alive

A Happy Life

Kumbaya my Lord
my favorite prayer
when I was a boy
always eased my soul
in times of troubles

young adulthood
my love of sports
kept me going
a fan of Yaz

left fielder
of Red Sox
many years

today
happy

Jump Ship and Skip Trip

Jump Ship and Skip Trip

We are sure ball players may jump ship,
And they will not go along or take trip;
No doubt,
Forget about,
So all activities they did decide to skip.

Many of Red Sox are saying to forget it.

Boob Tube

watching the boob tube
not a waste of time
PBS is good
got me through grade school
use to watch Hunter
Virginia
on Friday nights
the step daughters
loved their Baywatch
eighty-six
world series
eyes were glued
Red Sox
they lost
shucks

Angels Wearing Sox

Angels Wearing Sox

Always wondered when angels wear sox,
And ones I see usually have curly locks;
Place won't forget;
I did and do regret;
Again must have mis-placed her box.

Jim Horn

This is true in process of putting
Christmas things away.

Death Comes Calling

When Death Calls

Death comes calling in the early morning
No one is at home
They have all gone fishing
Personally, I prefer doing the dishes
Cleaning the litter box
Darning sox
Those darn socks
I prefer doing that than being damned and dead
When death comes calling

Today's Red Sox

two-thousand-four
losers no more

Boston Red Sox
out of the rocks

contenders again
beginning to win

three word series wins
no more Babe Ruth sins

now Ortiz calling it quits
won't send the Sox to the pits

for they're stronger than strong
without doing a wrong

Big Box Full of Colored Socks

Big Box Full of Colored Socks

Started sleeping after some ticks and tocks,
Where cute cat had been found in a big box;
All curled up,
Round like cup,
That did contain many different colored sox.

Jim Horn

This actually happens each morning when
our cat is discovered.

Premium Member Pushing Up Daisies

So this is where I'm bound to sleep

Just three feet wide and six feet deep

No shirt, no shoes, or even sox

Only me in my little box

So grab a shovel, lend a hand

And bury me in desert sand

I know that it's a boring job

Guess I shouldn't have robbed the Mob

Red Sox Nation

Baseball is over I'm sad to say
But the good thing is our sox went all the way.

From the start of Spring Training they decided to re-vamp,
and thats why the Red Sox are the 2007 World Series Champs.

From the begining to the end our team kept us on yhe edge of our seats,
but Red Sox Nation is loyality to say the least.

Premium Member Go Sox

The Red Sox flare is now on fire
The excitement certainly does inspire
Another fun game, waiting to see
The World Series is the place to be
Go Sox, we say here in the east!
They’ve earned their way to say the least
Today weather brought a 2nd rainbow to Fenway
Starting memorable times, in history to stay
