Winding downstream in a sinuous snaking stream bed it built
By eroding outer bends, building up its inner bends with silt
Defying the straight and easy path, which like a flippant lover it jilt...

the raining 
tones on your absent 
in courtship 

night jasmine 
with snaky red eyes 
greets illusion 

bright silver 
the moon full love dish 
in tasteless 

for the sun 
ah, for the you one

'neath the grass slithers a snaky shadow.

a short smothered squeak, a muffled stuggling,
flowers flirt with the breeze with nary an inkling.

a feathery blur plummets from the sky
with razor-sharp talons and a cruel cry,

rips the serpent with its cold, crooked beak,
then flies off to feed its young nestled at the peak !...

cruel emblems as pride
tell the world clear
their heart is full of that
but are they always victors?

those that choose 
humble emblems as symbols
inform the world clear
their character is so
but do they turn the other cheek?

what if a nation
chooses snake as emblem
they probably are that
but does such a nation exist?
are they snaky in relations?...

Chasing stars and barking upon the fly.
Hound of thunder, cloud riding the air,
With three heads and snaky tail awry.

Lightening cracks like a whipping lash,
Indoors, onlookers make a wild dash;
To escape the unnatural fiery glare,
Of the monster mongrel raining ash.

My pet dog cringes in abject fear,
Crawling into a box he is near,
Huddling low in the safe wooden square,
While the hell-hound doth sullenly sneer....

labor blues,
Exhaling extortion sin wage scale dues

Forklift tongue
belly rolls across a serpentine cargo corpse bay
Anaconda pallet walk
got a hangman’s boa rope choke swinging sway...
