Jill’s a driver; and she is still working
while her better-half bides more time at rest.
Jill’s in good shape, no job is she shirking;
a lady in first place, she gives her best.

God doesn’t Make Junk
By: Miracle Man
9-8-2019
Never neglect,
giving God full measure.
Slacking will surely,
bring HIM displeasure
Don’t be found shirking,
for HE knows your heart.
God never makes junk,
But HE does deal in art.

Lyric
How very inconsiderate,
dieing in the open;
shirking anonymity
behind the raging green.
You avoided the cacophony,
left random bullets blameless,
then when your God
abandoned You,
He left
just You,
alone;
refused to leave your ruined face
behind the mangled sandbags,
or in a shallow foxhole,
instead of here,
with Me

Free verse
boxed to a corner
horde by unseen eyes
shirking the coming dusk
slashed to a million pieces
prickling the mind
wailing, screaming
with concise thoughts
as a lasso to the soul
we pant to the sabbath
as we come to birth
but with the brevity of breath
smirking with utter defiant
swimming in an ocean of doubt

Narrative
Deep into the sunflower,
Shirking away in facade.
Alas!
The It in the search for it,
But the constellations know better.
Soon draws in the daily winter;
When the flowers wilt and fall;
As it shivers off the travesties,
To settle up in serene,
Adorning its grey regalia,
Giving It the fickle find.
The moon plays hide and seek,
And the night is It.
