Would preen as he made ladies swoon
Chin chiselled and firm

His butt still looks like a balloon

scratching against the fabric

to step
back.
Wound
tight
we are.
spun up
from birth.
Force fed
all we know.
Everything
we know
from one
tiny place.
One mote
of
spacetime.
Self important
are we.
Self important
we think.
Controlling,
manipulating
changing the
world.
Other ways
exists in
different
places.
Perspective
need more
perspective.
Much to
learn.
Infancy still.

Selfish and lonely,
I,
When it's me, I am everything,
When it's you, I don't care,
All for one, and one for one,
The cart before the horse,

Self-reliance, self-sufficient,
Self-effacing, self-indulgent,
Self-absorbed, self-righteous,
Self-made, self-important,
But without you,
I don't exist.
