Summer

Summer time I love this season. Flowers grow, no more snow. A BBQ in the garden. I sit
and read by the pool.

Summer time so much fun. Long lazy days. I can hear the children playing. Eating ice
cream.

Summer time Come around soon. My favorite season.

Is It Resolved

The holidays are a time when we hold loved ones close

making New Year's resolutions to be better and not so morose.

With trimming the tree, the gifts, the cards, the good wishes for all

Spending too much time and money at the mall.

Our hangover on Jan 2nd makes our resolutions go out the windows.

Spring Time Hope

Spring a time for
a new beginning.

Spring a time for
flowers to be planted.

Spring a time to
mend a broken heart.

Spring a time for
new love to bloom.

Spring a time to
begin new memories.

Spring a time for
new life.

Spring a time to
say goodbye to winter.

Spring a time for,
new hope.

The Heat

Sweet and salty,
Bittersweet,
That time of year everyone's ready for the heat.
From Alaska to Florida,
California to Maine,
In teens and kids,
A time to celebrate.
School's out for now,
Gone are the books,
Late night crunch time,
And early risings.
For three months its swimming,
Sleepovers and camping.
It's summer time, baby!

Seasons Apart

Spring time air all around.
Bulbs pushing up through the tender soil.
A beautiful time of year.

Summer sun above candy clouds.
Grass so green, full of vibrant life.
A breeze so gently warm.

Ground littered with rusty colours.
Autumnal dew upon perished leaves falling down.
Coming soon; a colder season.

Frozen landscapes under minus degrees.
Icy cold winds galloping steadfast through skies.
Dull essence of winter, here.

A Poet Also Rises

I am up early this morning
anticipating the sunrise.
Too dark for any birds to sing
and I still have sand in my eyes
left by my age old friend sandman.
This time of year it rises late
plenty of time for a game plan;
No reason to procrastinate.
Ah! There’s the man, right on schedule.
Guess I’ll shower and scrape a few
And while I’m doing this I’ll mull
over a plan on what to do.
The morning is beautiful outside
That’s it, a long bicycle ride!

Spring

Spring
~~~~~~
Spring is a time of green and grassy hills
Of clear flowing streams and daffodils
Spring is the time when the world comes alive
Flowers blossom wide in the sun with joy and pride
Spring is rebirth and the awakening season
Hearts are carefree and soaring and love is the reason
Spring is the time when the bluebird sings
And a boy pushes girl at the park on the swings
Yes Spring is a feeling that stays in your heart
To the day it is over from the minute it starts.
