My Own Decay
The art of losing yourself I think I've mastered, everday I feel further and further away.
My thoughts, my actions, my satisfactions and my reactions are further off the bay.
In the wind I can smell the coconut oil and when I close my eyes, I hear the palms sway.
I'm running farther and farther from my roots, how far will I run to avoid my own decay?

So should I close my eyes to dream

Hoping spring for this dried out brain
Alas……….., I imagine loves salvation for my soul
