Dreaming
I was like living in the desert
who dreamed for raindrops,
but only sandstorms came--

who dreamed for gerberas too,
but only cactus plants I'd seen--
stinging in my sagging skin....

Premium Member The Mighty Rose
A lover, a wife, a fallen friend,
All recipients of the reddish end.
The queen of flowers which we all know,
Seen in sandstorms and falling snow.

Emotions rush...
At it's touch;
Faster heartbeats,
And embarrassing blush!

Gardens center around it's glow;
Just one more whiff, of the mighty rose!...

Premium Member Earth Mother
I swam in your ocean
Flew in your skies
Mother Earth so
Nurturing and wise
Now you fight back
With perilous fury
Waves and storms
The bodies we bury
Tsunamis and earthquakes
Sandstorms and snow
We have poisoned you
Chemicals in tow
I hope you forgive
Our ignorant ways
Man has deserted you
Mother Earth nights and days
...

On dry sand
seashells like ivory,
attract the eyes of young wanderer.

On barefoot,
searching amid fragments
of the ones so raveged by sandstorms.

Gently brushed
by the afternoon breeze,
he stoops down and touches them with wonder.

These pretty
seashells have spots and lines...
they are found along Long Island Sound....

Someone and Some
someone left in the desert's middle
you don't know
deserts full of unknown stories
sandstorms are cover

there was someone on the other side of the sea
waves did not allow
I never knew her
I can't say I didn't wonder
I couldn't afford death only

there was always someone somewhere for everyone
some found him
some were are always search...

Tireless Tracker
Endless Arboreal Hills
Crisp Oak Leafs
Here are the prints
I am the Tireless Tracker

Dunes On Fire
Rolling Burning Sandstorms
Here are the signs
I am the Tireless Tracker

Dirty Cobblestone Streets
Broken Homes Abound
Here are the marks
I am the Tireless Tracker

There It Is.
I've found it.
Here are my desires.
I am the Tireless tracker....

If God
If God is the Ocean,
are we water droplets and tidal waves?
If God is the Sun,
are we light beams and shadows?
If God is the Desert,
are we grains of sand and sandstorms"
If God is the Moon,
  are we moonbeams and darkness?
If God is the Mountain,
are we the rocky paths and the summits?
If God is the Wind,
are we spring breezes and thunderstorms?
If God is Eternity?
  are we the Now?...

Crystal Dreams

Fervent sandstorms of daylight
breathe their last on hot topanga
distant shores rumble with breeze
 splashing colours of blooming dusk.

Oh my blue crystal dreams so delicate
 dance on sumptuous serene waves
silver stars on the glass in carmen
sprinkle in slithering hush to sleep.

Naked to the bone
To the earth we fall
Grains falling through time
Like quick sand a vacuum

Each one of us a grain
Becoming one
with the earth
Leaving our footprint

Through sandstorms blindly
Searching the deepest depths
An ocean of life
Walking over sands
Leaving an impression

a footprint
Left in the sands of time
Creating this sandcastle
Each grain
the building block

Blown away in time
In memory of life
A grain
of thought...

Here I Stand
Here I stand
Atop this mountain
Pain trying its best to keep a hold
Refusing to let it
I smile, forcibly
Still, its what's needed
Here I stand
Courageous in my fight
Victorious in my battle
No longer ashamed nor afraid
I have survived
Here I stand
Amongst previous sandstorms
Hailed against my soul
Full throttle
Stopping short of your head on collision
For my vision's much clearer
And my heart is at peace
So here I stand,
Beautifully Free......
