A young girl from near Sacramento,
Was chewing a tasty pimento,
She then bit her tongue
And although very young,
Cried out "Shucks! NOW I've got a memento!"
There once was a youth from Sacramento
Who loved to spice his dish with pimento
His friends thought it worth a laugh
To spike for fun the carafe
They all left quick with no memento

This morning in icy cold, Sacramento!

Headed from Sacramento to Chicago,
I inadvertantly left a knife
in my on-board brifecase.
Airport security found the knife,
and I was completely surprised.
No, I was not detained.
Yes, they kept the knife.
In this fearful terrorizing age,
surely, I would be arrested.
It happened prior to 2001.
