Held For Others Rondine

Held for others she stayed divine,
did what she could and tried her best;
Went head first into every test,
fire and ice slowly intertwine
melding into a white hot shine;
Resilient as you might have guessed;
Held for others,
a protector of the front line;
Optimism others ingest
pulsating deep within her chest
expelled as soft laughter so fine,
held for others. p
