Premium Member Gargoyle Mist
steering blatant revelries, ghouls engaged to death
chomping down streetlight openings in bitter stone
bow walled yew tree drifters, steps of many feet in
shallow parade to pew, the kneel cushion's betrayal
- how the shadowless crave… and the headless sing...

Only To Depart
I brushed aside
My faraway glimpses,
The many consequences
Of trifle revelries I wasted
Grasping the snippets of night time
And all abandoned pining.
Bouquets of fondled whispers dangled
Among damp stems along Riviera beach,
Still molding flit kisses in balmy shades
That stretched on coasts of sudden farewells.

Auld Lang Syne
Tonight, let’s toast to life’s revelries
When fullness of time drips fine wine,
Play on the year’s red-berried stories
Sipping the kindness of Auld Lang Syne!
As this year is now forever gone,
That through all journeys we entwine
Newer the resolve, to right the wrong
To sing of praises, good Auld Lang Syne!

They Live Instead
Colored leaves are earthly bound
falling soft upon the ground
making not one single sound
images of beauty found.

So many those, them, and these
tugging gently from their trees
drifting darting in the breeze
Autumn’s joyful revelries.

Hues of yellow, gold, and red
all around, soft landing dead
lying still upon their bed
in my thoughts, they live instead.

Not Trash At All
Behind an old rotten box,
lies a home for the lonely and unsatisfied
and while trash looks like torn leaves,
trash can be a treasure
and even create pleasure,
in delicate forms of laughs and smiles.
And on those nights when all is unkempt
pay little attention to the day,
but when dirty corners
are filled with simple revelries,
never let the day fade.
Treasure it; it's home of the gods.
