ashes of passion
warm
the fearful heart,
dry
     the tear drenched

rekindle

As the mercury starts to levitate,
and May hunts down chill residues,

warmed breezes rummage the ground
for ten sun-worshippers
cruising in two dusty,
floppy convertibles....

Warlk
dawn breaks ,attacking
Moon shining in residues of night
gulls soar effortlessly over that moon
hunting the sun
all
too soon hidden in snow clouds
sirens wail ,I stomp my way to stack shelves....

Lorna
Love latent in us unladled cloyed our heart with pain
Orgasmic thoughts that seed our efforts vain
Residues of things that will not walk away
Nested in the memories few, the longing lips to say
Always in innocense, yet love yearns still for you....

ELECTION..

The vote is in

One side pointed to division

The other unity..

The expression of unity

Arrived this morning..

Jubilation in the streets

And residues of division

These are the poles

Of conventional life..

Awaiting the time

When all expressions

Are of One......

All I See Still Is Love
The water stirred
Residues turn unsettled
Colored and blurred
Crystal clear after calm
An all I see still is
An order of love
Both of our hearts
Safe for momentary chase of the winds
That now takes its toll
When ships of this magnitude
Together on the same sea
Must voyage
Partners in progress they may be
But the sea knows no sentiments...

In chilled onyx morning
Silicon tears flowed
Down the plowed valleys
Of ebony skin.

Silicon tears
Leaking from sunken craters:
Red orbs bleeding residues of pain.

In the cold guttered streets
A father’s son lays dead:
A lifeless body riveted with lead.

Another father must now defend
The cardinal sin
Of a living son
Who fired the fatal gun....

Essential Persistence
The wisdom of the wind is motion,
Wandering ecstatic, yet sublime.

The charity of rain is laving lotion,
Cleansing residues of urban grime.

The genius of the sun is searing passion—
Violent, erotic rampant fire.

But cooling clay and earth we wear in fashion
Finally, when our hot hearts expire.

Our flesh erodes. Our bones flake too.
But souls need neither…born, anew....

Chrysalis
Despair shrugs off its dirty shell
emerging as Enlightenment,
cramped and crumpled she crawls
off in dazed bewilderment,

as remnants of vile guilt and rage
plot her demise, (shameless vestige!)
and residues of spiteful hate
conspire to take her hostage.

Sitting in her brand new skin
alone Enlightenment is like to die,
till Love, Confidence and Joy conjoin
to bolster her into a Butterfly!...

First intent to write a monorhyme poem.

A bunch of flowers twined and displayed
Violet, pink, yellow, blue are gathered
Showing a wonderful bouquet centered
Inviting to enjoy this wonderful sight offered.

Spring has bloomed in many hues.
Leaving a streak of navy blues.
Fragances are smelt without residues
Inviting to a flower festival venues.

The Malady
The malady

Knocks on my door
The hall is empty and bleak
Dark doors keeping secrets
I tape a spoon against a wine glass
Its plinks sings from room to room
           Looks for and outlet
Settles like dust on book shelf
As residues of unspoken words
I hear children in the street jubilant voices
Pain subsides
Get out of my chair slowly, a battle won...

Come and get it I have some breaking news!
You really need to get here right away,
this development quickly made my day;
It may just set off your internal fuse
careful the fire you do not overuse;
Run don’t walk there is no time to delay
come and get it!
Rebuilding with leftover residues
your future can be changed starting today!
That alone gives you a reason to stay;
Sparing a moment you really can’t lose;
Come and get it!...

Departures
I never overcame your departure brothers
since then
my feet walk crippled
the kidney only filters half of the residues
my heart partially collapsed
and beats insufficiently
the gastric juice became acid
and corrodes the sweetness of dreams
the bronchial airways are carbonized
and emit a roaring echo
the neurons lost
innumerable synapses
when dying necrotic
but here I am with my soul
regenerating light
so that the guide with the candle
calms my rumble of jungle...

FOOTPRINTS

Footprints are walked memories;
molded cerebral impressions
of traced tracks—telling
tinted stories of freedom’s journeys;
like running rivers between banks
leaving trailing residues of liberation.

Remembered footprints
tell tall towering tales
of those who’ve passed this way.

May the Most High
let mine tell tall tales
 of the jubilee journey jogged
as I passed this way.

And may my marvelous ones walk
proudly in the depths of my footprints....
