Religion Schism

One god has as many religions
As Trafalgar Square has got pigeons
A lad on the booze
with nothing to lose
Got baptised with two Dead Sea Widgeons
Form: Limerick

Premium Member Religions Are Like the Oceans

Religions are but oceans and seas.
They separate us and yet connect us.
Beneath the waters there is land.
The land is the throne for all living beings.

2019

From Plymouth Rock to the Golden Gate
Old World religions have fostered hate
With no "brother" fuss
Just "them against us"
And still no sign their hate will abate
Form: Limerick

Premium Member An Interesting Cut of Meat

Pork's an interesting cut of meat
Which gentiles find tasty to eat--
   It's a no-no for Jews
   And for Muslims too--
It's the meat where these religions can meet

Religions To Respect

Some people say
Cremations
Out of their religion

Some people say
Cremations
In their religion

All I have to say
Every religion to respect other religions

Follow Religion In All Regions

All religions preaching to come always together

All regions now approaching all to go distancing

Reason is for not following the teachings of religion in all regions?

Premium Member Fly and Die

Words
Flaunt their authority
Demanding attention
To a limitation
A seeker's delight..
And the limitation
May hold hostages
Form religions..or
Simply
Fly and die...

To the heavens, undying faith we pray

For confirmation, deserts we excavate

HUMAN CONDITION IN PERSPECTIVE

There are enough religions in this world
to promote hatred, disputes
over pride and vanity... and insufficient spirituality
on the part of men to
promote peace and love among all...!

The Reality

For my friend,
James Forte

Religions,
unites us in communities
and traditions ...

Technology,
brings us
the Comfort
of the life...

Only the CULTURE,
creates
CIVILISATIONS.....

The View From the Valley

Shooting stars on a starless night
hate has never felt so right
religions clash and cause dismay
early on the evening’s light
filling mother’s and father’s with sorrow
I hope we all wake up tomorrow

'false Witness'

Religions embedded,
division commands
which savior, which heaven,
epistles in hand

Devotion to difference,
each split ever wide
one bible three meanings
—all preaching a lie

(Dreamsleep: October, 2021)
Form: Rhyme

The Proffer

Religions survive
  through subjugation

Without it,
  they are lost

Wielding guilt as a weapon,
  they proffer salvation

Enlightenment and freedom
  —their cost

Form: Rhyme

Heaven and Hell

heaven and hell
the hypnotizing words,
name of mental instability
before death!

because
all religions
give you the heaven
if you abide by their own creeds;
otherwise
you’ll go to hell!
