Injury

One thing is true in this life we live,
it takes great passion to forgive.
Letting go past hurts and injuries,
caused by people’s selfish treacheries.

Realizing pay back’s not our own,
we move on, leaving insult alone.
Yet deep inside a recessed core,
there lurks a wound that is still sore.

Trite but resolute
Efforts to crack the indestructible  

Here you say:
Willowy white Lily-of-the-Valley
Softly flowing waves of ecstasy
Delights a recessed heart
And resurrects the willful soul

I say:
No one knows the heart of one
Cast onward towards the billowy grey
Destined to revive 
My vain attempts at life...

old and wisened like great oak trees
internally vibrant cunning and silent

no good deed goes unpunished
dark hands with gold bands
mystery men of renoun
never a sound speak in whispers

comes to them a spark
they feed the spark till it comes aflame
more they say till flames a roar
they plot and scheme hidden away from all mainstream...

Vibrant pink
Juices on my lips, nose, check
Nibble, inhale 
Suck, swallow, savor 
Enfold, engulf, enflame
A taste
A scent
A smile of sated satisfaction. 
Forbidden fruit 
So called 
Because the danger of one taste
One touch
Grounds but gives us wings
A sense of times long past
In recessed rooms of teenage dreams of
What could be. 
Could never be
No never
Not for me....

Inner Wisdom

We need not attend outward images only;
a recessed feeling of joy may do,
viewing subtler yellows of sunflower petals.

We need not shackle ourselves to metals.
Cold hard steel, rusty cobalt blue,
chain outward senses from inner glory.

We are made to live more than the physical story.
We need to address inner feelings askew.
Their comings and goings fulfill some of us too....
