Trogon
In the rain forests the Trogon dwells
Eating insects, fruit and seeds
A bird with the most lustrous plumage
Nesting in holes in the trees
Brilliant and dazzling with their long tails
A truly beautiful sight to see...

Walking Next To Nature
Exuberant
different shades
of grasses
bushes
and trees
along paths
rivers
meandering
to and from
deltas
in valleys
across
the rain forests
making
all creatures
dance
to natural
rhythms
celebrating
all that is
breathing
and
walking
next
to nature...

Weight of An Anaconda
I always figured that the weight of an anaconda was a fabrication.
A nightmare, something an evil book writer made up, to instill terror.
So I looked it up.
And I was wrong.

Dirty Money
It is the greed of man who ruins our earth
changing the natural course of rivers,
constructing houses in areas of coastal erosion,
destroying our rain forests for filthy lucre.

Who Is Cutting Down Trees From Rain Forests
the lullaby of tropical birds sketches
the sounds of the early morning air
a spotlight of gilded rays
above purple clouds
traces a blue filtered peak
trees unite warmly
feed on the drizzle of rain
like a nectar gifted
native plants
spill in colors hurried
fill the barren ground
mammals of every kind unified lay unseen
asleep and covered in blankets green
and i wonder
wonder who
who would nullify
this bouquet
of sweetly scented
awes...

Who Is Cutting Down the Trees In the Rain Forests
the lullaby of butterflies hums
in the early morning air.
a rounded light of gold
above the purple clouds
spots a blue filtered peak.
trees unite as one in the constant drizzle of rain.
flowers wild, spill in colors hurried
to fill barren ground.
mammals of every kind lay unseen,
asleep and covered in blankets green.
and I wonder,
I wonder who,
who would nullify?,
this bouquet...
of sweetly scented
awes!
