Brother, don't bother me
You butchered my heart
Because your name is Butcher
With my machete i shall march in your blood.
If hatred is at one extreme,
and love is at the other
It's time we joined the very same team
and grow aloof to one another

The ability to imagine
isn't a critical thinking lapse
Rather, a strengthening of the mind
and a willingness to say perhaps
Illusions
You can't believe everything you see, you just can't trust your eyes.
A picture's worth a thousand words, but they may all be lies.
In the galaxy of regret and longing,
A wish called smiling love.
Time passes, I have stretched out my hands
To restore the bond from separation.
Helpless a girl can do anything
She have the ability to do something
People may think, she always fine
No reason to think that she won't any guilt
Live your life in harmony.
Then at least you will know,
that if the world were an ochestra,
you wouldn't be the sour note,
that makes it a bad composition.
The fingers of the sun touched my bed
Breezes from the songs of little birds
I fought like a Spartan my eyes are red
Read like Athenian for my future bread
Asked God, why are certain people angry at me?
He told me “Tell only those people who want to believe
Make yourself vulnerable and
Spoon-feed them” (the people)

Braising traumatic brain injury pain
easily distracted by too many ads
the sheer notion of being creative
is having a creative space to write
sincerely fight flight beyond plight
Rays
Stand in the love, stand in the light
Don't be lonely and scared to fight
For when the sun shines and then it rains
Always a rainbow follows its remains
Believe in your Rays of Light
Birds roost; the sun sets,
The day ends and sleeps,
The moon up high,
It lights the sky; stars peep.

Entry for David Williams Twenty/Twenty
Used 20 words and 20 syllables
broken branches
of a tree
fuzzy faces
unclear to me
painfully imprints
genetically strand
imprint illusions
alone being banned
Helplessly hoping
a final breath
timorously taunting
wishing for death
You take my hand to lead me
To our special place of bliss
With smiles wide you tell me
Your feelings with a kiss
The feeling of the softness
So warm, so loved and strong
Lets my heart then know you
And with you, it belongs
Words shape my world like crystals shining, merrily in a waterfall,
Words are so beautiful, how I would hate not to write at all,
Words can pick you up on a dull, dull day,
Put together you can find such beautiful things to say
Your my Doppleganger he surmised
Did he have it right?
Not so sure I said out loud
I just loved you at first sight
His evil grin appeared wider
Don't fall in love with me
For I'm friends with the dark side
And I will take you there with me!
With open arms
And staring wryly
A curve on the lips,
I relish catastrophy.
The turmoil you see,
The bizzare irony;
These are just...
My accomplices really.
They say I choose
To embrace agony
When the rest crashes down...
Where else could I be?
Oh you Christmas star in the dark sky above
Ignite our hearts with the spark of divine love
For our souls to be blessed by the Lord's grace
So as greed with holy compassion replace!

Quatrains four with refrain
Qualifies as French form
Quality lines that rhyme
Quite a feat to achieve
Quest for perfect writing
Quickly done once begun
Quirks of a poet's mind

Standing on the crossroads
When a choice you make
The roads that go far
The voyage is at stake.
You could just stroll
You could procrastinate
Until you lose track
Lose faith in 'fate'
Walk a lane on whim
Cede to 'the unchaste'
Steer the ship yourself
Better you than Him to curate
Wasted Dreamer
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Winds of change blow the dead and withered leaves
My fleeting thoughts across a littered desolate landscape
Once a life, a place vast and bright
Filled with hope and joy, the masterpiece of a future
Mocking the fading strands of a dream never meant to be.
Roused by a sharp and painful cry
A known tone from very nigh;
I'm amid the storm-safe in its eye
gracefully floating-where am I?
Regaining past as the oblivion fades
The arduous life staging numerous plays;
Though life seems unfair and hard to tew
Its a chance for me to start anew...
Mountains I tread break to rubbles;
Arts I sculpture wane to scribbles;
The defiant paladin has effaced from presence
And a gruesome ghost is left behind;
God despises my very existence
Burning this life he once lent;
He blunt my sword and burnt my shield
But my feral heart will never yield.
I remember waking up
To the sudden sense of fear
My camping bag was packed
I could sense what was near
The 3 hour drive
Was a bit of drag
Where I would spend 5 nights
Saluting the flag
I was nervous at first
Didn’t think it was fair
But then I realized
I was under their care
And I felt safe
