Premium Member Invisibility Cloak
the world became invisible again as snow erased lawns
paw prints, claw and pad prints chipped, gouged, tore
tiny three pronged splayed fork feet lined like stitching
and the seam ran drunkardly, none of it laid down yet
all the little artists late for work, blank to start the show...

Premium Member The Minx
There once was a lady from Lynx,
Who was a veritable minx,
she wrote about love,
cooed like a dove,
loved mixing ambiguous drinks.

Now the minx was wearing a wig,
Which made her look like a fig,
And she had the gall,
To hold me in thrall,
And jabbed me with a two-pronged twig!...

Ashes
“Still got that tin box that we used to ash cigarettes in college” she asked. "Yeah, it still carries the ashes of my tenderness that I burned with every cigarette I lit after losing you." he replied. Silence pronged, lips touched, but this time he could not close his eyes.

Ambushed
waterside vigil
buffalo nears water hole
lions crouch low nearby

three-pronged ambuscade
buffalo calf culled from herd
swift pincer attack

quarried prey springs forth
stressed calf serpentines about
lead lion cuts angle

driven toward snare
flanks assaulted from both sides
vise tightened prey clasped...

Humanity
Humanity thy thorns burn, tear untoward for you conceive no compassion
Tainted soul seeking kin to participate in wrong
As the disenchanted search a haven in which to belong
Why hate lies strong double pronged in our troubled world
Be every mans cross to bear
Sentiment and words alone constitute not change
Good night god bless suffering doth not digress...

Love Has Fizz
How sweet it is when love had fizz,
and life's bell was a tinkle,
one time me eyes locked with a cuz,
but she was way too little.

ol alien, poor bugger me,
richoted up into a tree,
tangled with a swarm of bee's
the sting of stung exciting

cousin Don he caught a guy,
teasing bees to get a rise,
water squirted from his eyes,
his phallus pronged and bulging:)

Don Johnson 29-june-11...

Orion
liquid oxygen, nitrogen, napalm
the many methods of modern BBQ
multi-pronged igniters injecting mainline
high pressure laser guided fusion reactors
subatomic quantum mechanical quasar energy
photons vibrating in Orion’s nebula
disintegrating galactic supercharged plasma
ejected from hemorrhoids at warp speed
inner core’s event horizon is compromised
came through the worm hole
didn’t see it coming...

Premium Member Triangular Point
She wore a Cheshire grin,
slowly munching the bite
she'd snitched from his plate.

"You took my point," he said.
"Everyone knows,
the point is the best part."

We sat around the table,
savoring pie, sipping coffee.
He wore an indignant look,

his fork pronged above her pie,
too late, her own point
already in her mouth.

A new concept to me,
but I have to admit,
the first bite of anything
                   always tastes best....

Transforming Your Exotic Kiss
What kind of lust is this?
Firey daggers of romance
Two-pronged on the table

Your heart at significant crossroads
Fearing he still grips the pulse of dreams

Believe me, when I come full bodied
My stance is definite
Along your quicksand embryo

We've danced through armaggedon
Reality and the pillows of thought
Plushy laid upon your sleeping grove

Watery graves in thrall beyond the ruminations of language
Music deftly played continues its vast beat
As you and I merge together...
