Over Populate

Over Populate

Over populate;
Results will never be great;
Did it anyway.

Isn't this about the size of it?

Adam

Adam
What was the problem
All you had to do was to name the animal
Populate the world and work the land
And rule over the world
What happen

A Positive Poem

Winged wonders brush the sky; birds in flight, like angels above.
Swooping, soaring, round and round; soft wings whispering their secrets.
Birds are natures’ gardeners; spreading seeds. they populate the soil.

I Ate Too Much

Can you elaborate?
When I insinuate,
Or elucidate,
The postulate,
Of the populate ,
To the proclamate,
And indicate,
An approximate,
When to inaugurate,
The officiate,
To delegate,
Or orchestrate,
Us to celebrate

Fancy

Imagination lights,
A path through all your nights,
For you to follow blind
Across your moon-struck mind.

But deeper in your brain
Are beasts you have to chain
The ancient fears and dreads
That populate our heads.

The News' Populism

The News has called me populism.
My vote offends the Press.
And when I'm seen with someone else
they start to feel the stress.

I'd talk to them about it,
but that would be unfair.
As any talk between us
might populate a scare.

Negative People

Negative People Written: by Miracle Man 12/17/2021 Nay-sayers and cranks populate my life, they appear happiest when causing strife. Griping and whining seems to be their dish, and skipping my plate has become my wish.

World

Here is the sea of sorrow,
Where people need to borrow
Boats of hope and paddles of reason.
To the land of nowhere thought
Our dreams try to flee,
But we keep stopping them
With fragments of redundancy
From very small entropies
That populate our minds.

Indian Blankets

In the quiet ebon of morning,
Thoughts arrive as droplets from the sky.
I’ve expended too much of my seventy-nine years,
Waiting on a bus called someday;

Now that the bus has arrived I discover,
I don’t have the price of a ticket,
Indian Blankets don’t populate my meadow,
And my time for planting has passed.

THANKFUL FOR DRAGONFLIES

Today I’m thankful for dragonflies.
We find them by ponds, in lakes in rivers and by streams.
I love how the first people to populate this land believed
dragonflies were the deliverers of dreams.

And I particularly love this indigenous point of view:
If a dragonfly sits on your shoulder…
all your dreams will come true.

The Flu That Flew Worldwide

We ponder what will be our fate
As Earth we over-populate.
More industry we generate
And agriculture propogate.
Many species we decimate
As Planet Earth we dominate.
Bigger cities we now create.
In high-rise blocks we concentrate.
Now pathogens grow at a rate
And fly worldwide to dissipate.
We ponder what will be our fate.

Yesterday

It never seems to end
as you lose another friend
when death comes grimly reaping
and he leaves the mourners weeping

How terrible the day
when someone fades away
and they join with those at last
who populate your past

So once again you start
with a broken mind and heart
as one more soul along the way
stays behind with yesterday

Source of Feelings

Different feelings,
     distinct dreams,
     populate solitude...!
    All forms of au revoir
    date an appointment here,
    or elsewhere...all future
    has its hole, its landmark
    its past tense... just love
    that stays is eternal...
    The feeling that creates it,
    it's source of everything
    it permeates, lives and creates...!

We Too Are Aware

whales are our kin
self aware mammals like us
and they were here first

older bigger brains
tagged dated aged centuries
for millions of years

then man sought oil
for lamps putting the lights out
for whale species

the oceans once full
now populate three hundred
self aware whales

humans are like them
mammals here in the millions
who too shall die out

The Wrighter's World

You foul beast of Love
– You who pounces on hearts–
Come closer to me one last time!
Dance with me again,
So that when you’ve ripped what you thought my soul
Into shreds of nonexistence,
I will populate the world of pages
With our descendants,
Rhymes and the lack of them,
And you will see
The pen, mightier than your claws!

Shadow Lies

Shadow Lies
The dead must laugh at how silly we are
For most of us will soon join them
Due to being jabbed up with the vacc
To cure the world of the CCP Virus
And de-populate the planet for them
Them who run the world behind the scenes
We only see shadows and hear lies
And countdown till we all die
The clock in the vac is ticking
Will you go and die before me
Time to go now see you soon

Parking Lot

It's not the same concrete parking lot that it was years ago.
Eternally characterized by the graffiti decorating the cold stone.
Those stiff business people aren't like those that populate it after dark.
Hardcore music used to echo around the underground haven
while teenage miscreants and outcasts ignored the rising moon and passing
time.
Those kids grew up too long ago
The parking lot's abandoned now, and it'll never be the same again.

Land of the Fairies

She sits atop a cloud of eppervesence
deep in thought
over the question

where did the fairies go
how to bring them back

her filligreed wings swish back and forth
as her thoughts go deeper
lost in ways to create her land of the fairies
where they can thrive and
dance
amongst the verdant ferns and brilliant stars

she holds the light of illumination in her hand
seeking wisdom
praying for the return of her comrades
to populate the land
and return it to the way it used to be.
