Your comments, I hold so dear.
My lack of response,
I fear,
is my ignorance of how to respond.
I love you all so dear,
I await your endearing comments,
loving encouragement,
and instruction on how to use this site.
An actual plea for help.

The Glorious Fact

Sometimes when my life seems to be at a bitter end,
And there is no one that I can truly call a friend.
I raise my eyes towards the heavens and begin to pray,
That I will resist all the sin and temptation that comes my way.
And even though I might stumble, fall and even crawl,
I will without hesitation, to God, my plea for help I'll call.
Thank you Jesus for taking me in despite all of my sins,
And the glorious fact that because of you, Satan never wins.

Desperation

Who do you tuen to,
When theres no one left,
No one who can help you,
Get rid of your emotional heft.

How do you know when you've had enough,
When things get a little to bad,
And a little to tough.

Then do you give in,
Then do you give up,
Then to you cry out for someone to listen.

Then do you act out,
Resorting to drastic things,
Yet you don't know what your doings mean.

It's only a desperate plea,
A plea for help,
When no one else can see.

One Away

One breath away
From deciding that she's done
One tear away
From wondering if its too late
One thought away
From having those cuts on her arms
One smile away
From falling over the edge
One moment away
From it being too late
Too late to save
The girl you thought was okay
One lightbulb away
From realizing that her smile
Wasn't always a smile
But just a plea for help.

"I'm okay," she said with a smile.
“Please take my hand. Take my hand and save me," said her smile.
