A Fellow Named Taz

There once was a fellow named Taz,
who liked to write with flare and pizazz,
this name he was given,
at the ripe age of seven,
because all of his friends he would razz!

Fireflies

Electric pizazz
Flickering winks of blue ghosts
Like magic with wings
Flits and frolics on warm air
Sets the solstice nights twinkling

Premium Member Missy D the Fashionable Duck

Missy Dee was as fashionably dressed as any duck ever was.
We saw elaborate clothing on her duck tail and her fuzz.
There was extra pizazz in her little duck waddle for sure.
She was queen of the pond. The cattails bowed at her demure.

Premium Member I wear colors

I wear colors in my clothing and in my purse
turquoise, red, yellow, green
purple, orange, silver, black and white
no idea why there is black or white
the designer must have thought this material needed them
there are dollops of white and streaks of black
they do add a bit of pizazz against the colors
two different designers surely could not be wrong

Premium Member Everglowing Vibes

Red rays paint the sky,
every minute colors change;
Our hearts slowly sync;
Within the shadow of night
the flow’s constant, easy;

Panoramic gaze,
gold curtains lift on the stars;
Natural limelight
bathes the buzz of eager eyes
revealing all of their pizazz;

So very potent!
Captured by a tractor beam
ever glowing vibes;
Forcefulness beyond question;
Perfect sunset here with you.

Premium Member Ms Pete Had Pizazz and Flair

Ms. Pete had the most interesting chair
It had pizzazz, color, shape, and ready flair
Eclectic like it, she knew what to wear
We did not see the back until she climbed heaven’s stair

The back was almost prettier than the front if you ask me
Ms. Pete had an eye for fashion that went past whoopee
We will miss her much, her things went for a good fee
The only recipient was the Haven for Cat and Puppy

You can't pizazz good poetry
It's more of a creepy, crawly thing.
How do you like my alliteration?
Stop snorting, good golly
(prescribing popcorn pureed in petulance)
okay, at least I tried... truly ;)
ps, am not into popularity.
just jivin.
don't dawdle
or drivel or drink much or dribble or
worry
stream of consciousness....
Ms. Mills taught me that
seems surreptitious to stop suddenly.
So I shall.

Premium Member Mickey Stone our Rooster

rooster with pizazz is what I want on my tombstone
these directions were given to us by our crower, Mickey Stone
I want to be laid in a casket with satin sheets of red.
But make sure first that I am truly dead.

He was an arrogant pompous rooster, of course.
Mickey Stone, who intimidated our cows, donkeys and horse.
He strutted all over the barnyard like he owned us all.
Nothing about this braggart was tiny or small.

Quick Fix

Sabotaging my dying will with small treats
Under hoping that sweets are not my only taking happiness
Greatly appreciated though the free quick fill of pizazz
Am I ever such a child when it comes to my share
Rare are the chances; for when you get older, not much candy is allowed

Relentless is my mouth for another taste
Urging is my body for a quicker pace
Simple are the treasures in my hand
Huzzah! A needed chocolate fix

Tidal connection,
wild flowers woo a Clownfish;
Anemone bond.

Seeds of ambrosia,
birds fight over leftovers;
Mammals with munchies.

Dancing Bryony
playing both sides of the coin,
grant don’t play my wish.

Peak of abundance,
blushed pizazz peppers the air;
Cherry Blossom blooms.

Calia purple,
always makes an impression;
Moths flock to its flame.

Honeyed Ambretta,
the taste of a Summer fling;
Perennial blast.

Premium Member She Got Married In Gorgeous Red

everyone gets married in white, irvory or pink her bridesmaids said.
She laughed until she coughed way down in her head
Have you met me? She asked them, enough said.
She got married in a gorgeous gown of red.

Will we be wearing white they had asked the bride.
Oh, no, she said, you will be in pink, and it will slide.
She was a designer who had pizazz and wanted her way.
She was the most beautiful bride ever on her wedding day.

Premium Member Deep in the Heart of a Weekend

     Deep in the heart of a weekend
        No plans, no promise, no pizazz

     A feeling as if I were robbed of something
        My youth, to be precise

     When Saturday night and Sunday found me out and about

     Ah, but what’s the point of comparing fragrance and fragility
        I’m happy with my life of sitting and writing and waiting

     Waiting for my disabilities to return to abilities
        recover assets, ditch liabilities
