releasing his spirit
on morning of the pinkest sun
angels overlooking my efforts
i feel a renewed sense of peace
there is an assurance
in some ways this is the beginning

The Sweetest Dad Ever!
When I was just a lass,
my teacher pulled me out of English class
to get a dozen of the pinkest roses in a vase made of brass.
They must have cost him an awful lot of cash,
but my Dad said Happy Valentine’s Day To My Favorite Blonde Lass!

fingertips of dripping ice that has frozen
glistening crystals of winter’s hardest snow
hot cocoa for my sledding friends, I need a dozen
reviving ourselves by a fireplace glow
pinkest cheeks awaiting familiar ho ho ho

Exciting is thy tweet to sweet
Besides being a wowsome greet
Thy quote carries philosophy indeed
Advocating the sublime deed
These four days could not ping thee
For that please pardon me
Anyhow we are in touch
Universally through vibes much
May you have the pinkest day
Surely you will make hay..!!

She was wearing her pinkest ballerina tutu, a nine-year-old phase.
The vanity mirror showed her sparkly smile and her happy gaze.
Her dancing feet were tapping up dust in a tiny little dusty haze.
You are so gorgeous! Your costume is exquisite, your face ablaze!
The happy ballerina had not known many happier or joyful days!

The prettiest baby ever born.
The kindest child ever imagined.
The most adorable smile ever created.
So darling, she should be in the dictionary under the word darling.
The softest hair ever created.
The pinkest lips.
The bluest eyes.
So cute, your eyes will fall out because of her cuteness.
First grandchild?
How did you guess?

Sweet floral wine aged with a fine distinction
permeates violet fluorescence through the air
silenced souls and the years cut into the night
and wrapped about the pinkest moon reunite
Love held at bay bringing life to weathered sails
under whispered breath and last nights first kiss
eyes widen with each anxious glance embraced
as time slowly tics hearts become gallantly graced
Flushed with feelings captured in a glow anew
It's never, never too late for a love that is true

LOVE SIGNS
The husband sat beside his wife
That woman-- passion of my life
Her eyes were lowered but their shine
Betrayed her mind saw us entwined
She took a pen in her white hands
Caressed the length, across black bands
Brought the tip near to her lips
Her tongue flicked out --the pinkest whip
And I, a pen from briefcase took
Swiftly bit it--her legs shook
And so across the room we loved
But never from his side she moved.
A pen, so small, a simple thing
became accomplice of our fling
