So I carved a prosthetic
But it looked so pathetic

i have a proud hen called miss peg
who hasn't given me one egg
she is failing to produce
i am starting to deduce

My cousin Peg is
My cousin Peg does
My cousin Peg does not
My cousin Peg will
My cousin Peg says
My cousin Peg….
I am tired of my cousin’s other cousin, Peg.
I am glad she is on the other side of his family.
I resolve to never like her in any way no matter what.
Then I meet her.
And she is impossible to dislike.
She is pretty much perfect in every single way.
Now I am saying “My cousin’s cousin Peg…”
One more peg
to quench my thirst,
thirst of a desert
nearer to sea
so close to it
yet so far.
One more peg
to forget the pain,
pain of my heart
which I once
offered to you
but you refused.
One more peg
to end this poem,
a poem of love,
love that is lost,
lost in time
never to come.
